“I bought some lovely curtains at Curtain House for two bedrooms. When I tried setting up the rods that I had bought at another store that is no longer in business I could not figure out why the finials would not stay on. They told me to bring in the rods so they could take a look at them. Even though they could have sold me something from their store they found a solution and I was able to use the rods. I am now going back to purchase shades from them. Anyone that would go above and beyond like that deserves a 5 star rating.”

“We were so honored to host our wedding party at the Concord Center for Visual Art. I cannot express enough our admiration for the venue's historical character, current artwork on display and staff for the special evening. Siri the venue host was very helpful with any questions and at the end of the night making sure we had everything. It was truly the perfect setting for our party. Ample space for the 60 guests in attendance. The caterer Susan Lane Events coordinated great with the Center's team. Our guests enjoyed the space for dancing, food, and beverages. Thank you again Natalie and team!”

“I'm a Salem resident and I am on a mission to tour all the local attractions AND places of relevance. About this one: This art association is located at the wharf, inside the historical yellow building close to the Friendship vessel and in the Maritime National Historic Park area of Salem. It consists of a gift shop with handmade items from local artists of very reasonable prices, a gallery on the same floor hosting a collection of Paul Nathan artworks, and a large gallery on the second floor. At the time of my visit, the second floor was showcasing a very interesting juried, temporary exhibition of various local visual artists around the theme of storytelling/myths/fairy tales. The gallery is free and open to the public on weekends. I think it can be very enjoyable for locals - especially having always new exhibitions - and visitors alike. If you are visiting Salem, it could make a nice 15/20 minutes visit to get a grasp on the local artistic scene and take a break from more commercial attractions and activities. And to possibly find a unique memento from Salem. Pictures are allowed PROs Artistic, very local and rooted to the true spirit of the town. Free. Pictures allowed. CONs Nothing to say here! 😊”

“Every time I went into Crave Beverly, I would admire their coral installations and decided to reach out to One Of A Kind artists to create a custom piece for me. This stunning barn board coral was carefully created with over 60 handmade clay pieces, and fired multiple times to create the wet, fresh from the sea look. I am in complete awe at the delicacy and vision with which this was made. I sent a picture of the space I was looking to complete and worked work the artists to determine the best size and shape for my wall. If you are looking to start your collection of custom pieces from local artists (and to add something incredible to enhance your nautical vibes) go check out One of a Kind in Rockport.”

“Ive never actually done business here. However for 4 generations my family has loaded lobster traps on and off the wall at the end of the parking lot. Ive had great conversations with people going to functions here and I really appreciate that I can use this wall especially since my dad grand dad and great granddad did too. Its a real part of Gloucesters lobstering history.”
