(June 1, 2019, 5:40 pm)A very nice place to relax and enjoy the views. We stayed in a chalet that was on the top of a hill. This location gave us the opportunity to watch the sunset into the lake while on the front deck. Chalet on the lake has all kinds things for the whole family including a fishing pond, two pools, two sets of double tennis courts, sand volleyball court and a playground. This is a very homey place to spend a family getaway which is not too far out of the way. About an hour and half from Chicago which the route has many places to stop and eat or taste wine and beer.

(March 24, 2019, 3:01 pm)Having lived in Mi until 2012 we found this gem of a resort around the 2003 time frame. For the next 4-5 years we spent the entire month of September staying here even though we only lived 40 miles away.
You don't invest that kind of time and money on a place not worthy of being called a resort.
We are traveling back to Mi from Az in May of 2019 and have already booked one of the Chalets for our granddaughters high school graduation and can't wait to spend time at Chalet On the Lake once again.
