  We recently rented the “Lake Diane Retreat” for our annual family vacation. There were 9 adults and 2 kids (ages 11 and 8). The house and property are beautiful and very spacious. I loved that all the bedrooms, kitchen and living area were all on the main floor of the house. The kitchen in the lower level was also an added bonus. The pavilion down by the lake was really great and that is where we spent most of our time. The kids loved the swim platform and slide (as well as the adults). The owner has all the amenities that you need and is very responsive to your needs. He is very meticulous and takes great pride in his property.
  
  The lake itself is beautiful and was not busy, which was awesome. The sandy beach area was a pleasant addition. The cement driveway all the way down to the pavilion was great as I use a scooter for mobility. Unfortunately we did have a couple of mishaps so I was thankful we purchased the insurance.

  Our family group of 12 usually stays someplace new every year, but we all liked the Lake Diane Retreat so much that we stayed there again this year! The host John is always helpful and makes improvements to this already beautiful property every year. Something here for everyone in our group, with age ranges from 5 to 75! Definite 5 star for us!

  June 26 thru July 3
  My family of 14 thoroughly enjoy our stay at Lake Diane. Everything we needed was there for us to use and enjoy. The younger grandkids stayed all day in the lake, sand, and jumping off platform then finished the day in the pool. The property was beautiful. We also got to enjoy the fireworks over the lake while we were there. We ate and had celebration in the gazebo! We made some awesome memories!!

  Lake Diane Retreat was a perfect place for reuniting our family of 3 generations, coming from North Carolina, Illinois and Michigan.
  
  The home gave us plenty of room for cooking meals and grilling outdoors. The luxury of 2 refrigerators was ideal for our group of 11. Dinners on the balcony were delightful. Game nights upstairs or downstairs provided great entertainment. Counting all the lighthouses in and around the home was a challenging and rewarding activity! And the sleeping accommodations were comfortable.
  
  The lake was beautiful and many sunrise and sunset kayak trips were made as well as pontoon boat cruises around the lake and a pedal boat adventure…all conveniently available at the property. The sandy beach area and sandy lake bottom at the shore exceeded our expectations. The indoor pool was ideal for our little ones (ages 3-1/2 and 8) and for spirited volleyball for the adults. Badminton and making s’mores over a campfire were also enjoyed on the spacious lawn.
  
  The owner quickly responded to our questions during our stay.

  We recently rented the lake house with two other families and enjoyed a fun filled vacation! The house was spacious and clean. The kayak's, paddle boat, and canoe were a great perk. The water slide was a big hit with the kids - and some of the adults too! The house had everything we needed to stay entertained for the week allowing us to stay put and enjoy some much needed family time. John was very responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend this property!
