Our most recent experience was damage from a storm bringing down a power line, causing issues with our outdoor electric wiring. They completely fixed the problem within an hour of being called, and all it cost us was a few peaches off of our peach tree. :) I recommend them 100%.”

“This Dollar General does seem to be a little short staffed, but that hasn't stopped them from being super friendly and helpful. A couple times I've had to step around some piles of things just laying on the floor like it was a maze while they were restocking, but I can get past that because, as stated, they seemed to only have a handful of workers. There's a great variety of groceries and household products here, and with a location almost in the center of Grass Lake, it's very convenient.”

“Had not been by here in many years despite it being so close to home. Last time years ago (7-8 years ago) I had a less than stellar experience and decided not to return. Must say, these guys working there today, great guys, helpful, courteous and downright pleasant. Price was very reasonable and as I told them, I will always patronize good pleasant folks even if it costs a bit more, they have restored my faith in this store and I will be back, and will bring our other vehicles there as well. It isn't hospital clean, it is however functional and friendly and I do recommend them with a smile. Thanks guys, well done”

“Amazing with kids. We came here on a recommendation from our regular dentist after our young son had some difficulty getting fillings done. They were great from the get go and or son says it's the best dentist ever. The staff is amazing and the office is set up in a way that makes it enjoyable for children. I do have 1 small complaint, they don't accept dental insurance directly so you have to pay out of your pocket and wait for your insurance company to reimburse you.”

“Check in was fast, friendly and quick. I had a pull through site with full hook up. The electric, water and sewer hook up line were all new and really easy to connect. The pool is clean and warm. There are play areas for kids and 2 fenced in dog parks. If you bring your golf cart, there's a one way trail that goes all the way around the rv park through woods and corn fields. There is a walking trail. They have a small store at the office and there is laundry on site. Security does rounds on there golf cart. All of the staff and guests are very friendly. I will be back.”

“I am 68 years old, and my father used to take my younger brother and I here when we were little. I hike the Waterloo area a lot, and was surprised when I found the old Mud Lake site. I was amazed at how the much the damn had shrunken since I was a child. It is a nice place to spent a lazy afternoon, and in my case brought back memories of a loving father.”

“We were part of the DJ Trivia semi-finals at this location and it was a bit tight, seating wise. They were packed so the food & drink service took quite some time, BUT the food was VERY tasty when we did get our order. They put everybody's tab at the table on one bill you have to ask you what you had to break it out at the end of the night; which took some time. We plan on going back on a non tournament night and enjoying what they have to offer and we will update this review”

“Portage Lake Campground exceeded my expectations in every way! The picturesque setting nestled amidst nature's beauty provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The well-maintained campsites offered ample space and privacy, and the stunning views of Portage Lake were simply breathtaking. The campground facilities were top-notch, with clean restrooms and hot showers that made camping much more comfortable. The friendly and helpful staff added to the overall positive experience, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the abundance of outdoor activities available. We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails, which offered a diverse range of difficulty levels and rewarded us with stunning vistas. Fishing on Portage Lake was a delight, and we even managed to spot some local wildlife during our stay. The sense of tranquility and serenity at Portage Lake Campground was unmatched. Whether sitting by the campfire under a starry night sky or waking up to the soothing sounds of nature, it was an idyllic retreat that rejuvenated our spirits. The only minor downside was the limited availability of electrical hookups, but it was a small trade-off for such a pristine natural environment. Overall, Portage Lake Campground is a gem of a destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. I cannot wait to return and create more lasting memories in this picturesque paradise. “What a surprising treat! I accidentally found this place while traveling, and it was right up my alley. I didn't have long, as it was late in the day- but the sweet person working made me feel welcome and enjoy the time I had. They had things I love, love to dig through! Lots of paper ephemera and little trinkets. I didn't get through the whole store, but plan to visit again when I can. The person working was so nice and friendly. I had a great time stopping by. Open 7 days a week, which is awesome!”

“This is a 100$ delivered bouquet I went through the FTD app. The picture with the woman smiling is a $40 bouquet added to the hundred dollar bouquet a week after delivery this flower shop has beautiful flowers and they put together a great bouquet. I just think they’re a bit pricey. Update- thanks for the tip and the honest response, I do understand the difference in the flowers as I have been bringing this woman bouquets for 34 years 🥰. As you are my favorite in my area and conveniently on my way home I will start calling direct.”
