Island Park

Beautiful scenery, kids loved different slide options and playground equipment.

The fencing is down in many of the areas, & some of the equipment has been completely broken, making it unsafe for little ones to play. It's sad, because we truly enjoy taking my grandkids there. I hope they are able to fix it in these few areas. I truly like the baby swings that you can swing with your baby/ young child. Great additive.

Been coming to this park for years & have always been impressed with how well the upkeep always is. Meant for ages toddler - 12 years on the playground equipment. 2 separate age level playing equipment, so toddlers have their own smaller version. Also has multiple sizes & styles of swings to accommodate babies on up. Also has baseball fields & a small skate park, as well as multiple covered picnic table areas & with built in grills. Massive evergreens dot the whole park & make for a very picturesque setting. I highly recommend!!!

The top row of the bleachers need to be fixed before someone get's hurt. Everything else is great.
We can't use the shelves in the dugout because they're very dirty. I don't know if anyone is expected to clean those, but if so, they're not doing it. I tell my son to keep his stuff in his bag. He put his hat on that shelf once and when he pulled it out it had gone from brand new to looking like a 15 year old hat of a man that live's under a bridge. lol
