Bicentenial Park

  The Bicentennial Park's best use is to see the American Beach Trees found on the North side of the Wolf Creek about 15 minutes into the trial. The first half of the trial is full of bugs so wear Off with Deet. The Praire is maturing and is becoming more beautiful each year. My favorite time to trial is in the spring when all the Jacknthe Pulpit, Trillium, May Flowers, violets, and more are in bloom in the furthest point in the woods. The park is open dawn to dusk.

  Great little park with a soccer field, swing set, picnic table pavilion and a permanent outhouse.
  
  The old Forest Trail is about a mile and a half loop. It's a easy walk and the trail is well maintained. It doesn't get a lot of foot traffic in the beginning is grass covered which is beautiful once you get into the forest there's lots of different types of trees that are very old. You can tell they planted things on purpose many decades ago as their signs of the different types of trees.
  
  Great for a walk through the woods. May not be the best for small children and dogs because of all the plants. Be sure to bring bug spray.

  Nice little park. The trail is super buggy. So buggy in fact that I swallowed a large black fly while just walking. That's probably on me though. Cool trail.

  Nice park. Make sure to bring bug spray if you plan to hike the Old Woods trail!

  Nice quiet out of the way little park. Great place for a hike.
