“I found this church by accident after finding out my mother cancer came back and that she didn't have long. The pastor and church members welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family. They said prayers for my mom and family, gave me words of encourage and most importantly lead me to different scriptures to increase my wisdom of the word of God. The pastor even went to visit my mom several times, prayed and talked with her. She enjoyed his company and was able to take comfort when he addressed some of the fears she had. Mainly her worries for her children. When her time grew shorter I was an emotional mess, but he stuck with me. He continues to check and see how I'm doing. We had her funeral to day and along with my family he offered support, prayer and words of encouragement. My mom was my best friend and its been difficult but bearable thanks to my biological family and my church family. I'm forever grateful for the support they gave me and they continue to give me. Most of all, I thank God for letting me find this without looking and to help me make the decision to check it out.”
