“This is a must when we come back home to visit! Although we enjoy camping here right now they have major construction on the South side which will wake you up early at 7:31 am. Beware if you want to sleep in. Otherwise no problem if you don't mind the bulldozers!! We feel it's a little pricey! Pool closed and with just water it was $56.00 a night.”

“I went into Massarants for products to clear my pool. I had been fighting silt algae since opening the it in May. Shane did testing on my pool water and gave me the chemicals to clear the water and get rid of the algae in the pool. He also put me on a list to bring a vacuum robot home to use for the day. I used it last night, and this morning my pool looks pristine. I’m so grateful for all the help. Massarants will get all my pool business from now on. Thank you again Shane.”

“The park is well maintained. The sites are mostly level and paved. There is good spacing around the sites and the parking pads are at an angle to the road making it very easy to back in. There are very few trees so you won't get any shade or protection from the wind. The park is directly next to the beach and trails connect to the day use section of the park and the rest of the trail system. The park is on the western shore of Lake Erie so the waves are minimal unless the wind is out of the East. Unlike many state parks there are some full hookup and 50 amp sites. Even on a hot day at pretty full occupancy there were no power issues.”

“Attended granddaughters soccer game. Very nice park has lots of thing to offer multiple baseball diamonds and soccer fields, play structure, sword fighting and trails enjoyed game even though it was windy and cold”

“Very pretty park. Well maintained. Only downside was the playground is so close to the water. Takes 2 seconds for a child to get curious and wander away. Some days that river is really flowing.”

“Great campground well shaded I had a water view site. The owner is a really neat lady. I have never been any where I haven’t had to fill out a bunch of paperwork before getting settled in. I am disabled and she came to my site. Very quiet My only complaint is with the power company who shut it down one night to do some work.”

“Neighborhood can get a bit crowded during better weather. But coming here with assigned parking and amazing front desk staff ( You rock Nicole B! ) makes it easy to escape from it all. With everything in walking distance and an amazing view how could you go wrong.”
