“I just had my first dry float session at The Color Box in Michigan, and it was absolutely incredible. This was a Mother’s Day gift from my partner, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. The experience lasted 45 minutes and from start to finish, it was pure relaxation. I was wrapped in a warm cocoon, floating inside a private pod, and the sensation was so soothing and peaceful. What made it even more amazing was that I never touched water. My body and hair stayed completely dry the whole time, which made the experience super comfortable and easy. The space itself is beautiful and calming, with soft lighting and a peaceful vibe as soon as you walk in. The team at The Color Box was friendly and welcoming, and they explained everything clearly, so I knew exactly what to expect. During the float, I was given a warm weighted eye mask that helped me fully relax. The scent of essential oils filled the room and added another layer of comfort. To top it all off, I received a head and scalp massage that felt incredible and really helped me unwind. When the session was over, I felt lighter, calmer, and mentally refreshed. It was as if my body had taken a long nap and my mind had finally unplugged from the noise of everyday life. I can’t recommend this enough. Whether you're treating yourself or looking for a special gift for someone else, this is something everyone should try. I’m so grateful to have found this place and I will definitely be going back. “This is an awesome place to find God in your heart. Truly a place to help guide you in the right direction in a very powerful way, as is with all churches. When I started going there back in October of 2021, I was having some rough challenges. Over the time that I have been there, I have learned how to be a better person by learning the many ways we can stay connected with God. This church also does a lot for people with disabilities, as well as anywhere else in the community. They even record they’re services (as with many churches starting wheb Covid was strong) and post them on YouTube later on the everybody’s church channel so that we can watch it whenever we want. Or, if your like me, do morning church everyday. I can’t say enough good things for all the things this church has done for everybody. For me, after having been there for a few months, they let me volunteer there as an usher. Now they’ve let me have an actual paying job there to support me and my family financially. I really enjoy working there. This church has really changed our lives and we are forever grateful for the opportunity this church has given and provided for all of us. Thank you sooooooo much first presbyterian church of birmingham Michigan, I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve given. Almost 200 years later and this congregation is still going strong. That’s how good they are at spreading the word of Jesus”
