Let me begin by stating that Mel (owner of 5 Star Service) is the most fair, honest and knowledgeable person that you can trust with your PWC/Jet Boat repair in southeast Michigan. I have a Yamaha LS 2000 Jet Boat that he has serviced several times. I sank my boat in 2017 and he rebuilt both motors for a very reasonable price. Those motors are still running today and I have had no trouble on any kind. Most recently, I bought another Yamaha LS2000 earlier this year and literally blew the motor up under high RPMs (engine pieces in the bottom of the hull). Mel supplied and installed a completely rebuilt motor and was able to salvage parts off my old motor in order to save me some of the core charge (in my opinion the old motor had no value due to the amount of damage). He was also able to identify other issues with the boat and fix them at very little additional cost. I recommend 5 Star Service to everyone I know and would not take my watercraft to anyone else. Blew My engine Memorial weekend on my 04 Seadoo Sportster. Lost all compression on cylinder 1. After Making 20 phone calls around I thought my boat was done for good because nobody works On these Rotax DI Engines. Then I stumbled Across Five star Service. Mel pulled My engine and Rebuilt it from the Crank up! Mel will take his Time and Water Test your Sea Doo and Make sure everything is in Good working Order before Giving you your seadoo back. Since the Rebuild he water test it and Was going into limp Mode. He spent a good hour of his time Going over everything he did and we tried looking into the problem together. I ended up paying him for His work and taking My boat. After Further Investigation I found The rectifier coincidently failed. Replaced that and now my boat is driving Like new with no issues. Mel Does Great work and a trusted mechanic that stands by his work!

I ordered two 787s from mel for my boat and he had them both done under two weeks showed up packed in foam with fresh pain gaskets and instructions looking like a fun summer
