“Rose is a wonderful assisted living. It is more of a COMMUNITY than facility. The staff at Rose is caring and attentive to the needs of the residents as well as their families. The activities are geared for all needs and family members are welcome to join in. I love the jewelry activity, I made a gorgeous gem necklace. They have movie night with popcorn, target and Kroger store outings, BBQ’s and much more. I’ve taken care of both parents, in-laws and now a family member, so I’ve experienced many care facilities, but, nothing has come close to Rose Senior Living. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by ponds and woods, there are side walks for walks, path in the woods and even a small dog park, all surrounded by a caring warm community atmosphere. Management, and all levels of staff, listen as well as hear your concerns. It is really nice to see a smiling staff greet and interact with residents (and their families), some truly enjoy their job. Rose is involved if we want them to be or in the background waiting if we decide we need them; they take time to support, interact and guide you with your loved ones concerns. We are so blessed that our family member is given the opportunity to live at Rose and share in all it has to offer. I call it the ‘DISNEY’ of health care. If you’ve ever been to Disney, you understand the level of service I’m referring to. Outstanding.”

“I have been seeing Dr. Kemske for close to 20 years. I went in very reluctantly and was not a fan of therapy or sharing much of anything for that matter. She has done amazing work with me and I cannot thank her enough. I am having conversations with my family and especially my wife that I would never have even considered before working with Kim. I do not consider her a therapist as much as a teacher. She has taught me how to process my thoughts and feelings and how to effectively deal with the many challenges that life brings. There is a reason for everything, and if you can get to the why, then you can understand your actions. I am wound a bit tight and have a pretty stressful career. Without her help I would have had extreme difficulty in dealing with the challenges and stress that we all have in our lives. I highly recommend therapy for everyone (never thought I would ever say that) and for me personally, Kim has enabled me to succeed in my personal relationships both at work and with my family. I am thankful for what she has taught me and after all this time I still learn something every session.”

“Dr. Marshall was the amazing with me. I had a car accident several years ago, and he took great care of me! He was attentive, and really listened. He wasn't one of those drs who has his foot in another room while you're trying to talk to him. He is kind, warm, and really pays attention to what you say when you tell him what your issues are. I actually am planning to go back to see him soon, because my back is acting up again, and he was the only one who kept me pain free!! “Abaris Behavioral Health is a great psychological/psychiatric clinic. I have Medicaid and despite that I have received nothing but mostly positive situations with care. I managed to get an appointment with the evaluating clinical psychologist within three weeks (compared to six months or more) of calling the receptionist Jen. I had my clinical interview and psychological evaluation in one session and the follow up in a second session. Dr. Sara Chase is a great licensed clinical psychologist. She is compassionate, kind, and personable and is not demeaning, intimidating, or egoistic unlike some other psychologists or psychiatrists I've heard other people go to. She provides quality, comprehensive, and thorough psychological evaluations and psychological evaluation reports. Communication with Abaris and Dr. Chase may be a little challenging at times but both will get back to you in a reasonable timeframe. “I don't believe the current reviews reflect the reality of SoS, specifically in this location. The staff is nice and easy to talk to. Yes the line might be long from time to time, however that should be expected and not penalized. Let's be real, the variability is great in places like this. And you are treated the way you treat them in my experience. Be kind and patient and they will appreciate you and help you out. It is not the most exciting job, but the staff is doing their job competently and as expediently as possible. We are all human afterall. If you do not want to wait in line (either via ticket or text), you can also opt for online appointment, which needs to be scheduled two weeks in advance, which is convenient. If you can't plan ahead (either because you have an emergency or simply because you didn't think about it), then make sure you sign up via text as soon as it opens (8:30am on weekdays, but check the time). Seconds matter when signing up online. Well pray that the system will work well that day. It is not the most reliable online system, but it has worked well about 80% of the time I have used it. If there are too many people, it might overload and crash. In that case wait for following day. Avoid super centers if you can on weekends if at all possible. Otherwise, the place is clean, staff amiable (unless they had a long week/day) and the line system works. For those snowy/freezing cold temps, make sure you check online or on Twitter or give SoS a call to ensure that they are open that day. I know they were closed when it hit record lows at end of Jan 2019. Normally if public schools are closed, they will be closed. Everyone please follow common sense, be patient and kind to staff and people around you. Have the right expectations going in and do your part as a good citizen. Cheers.”

“I had a pleasant experience. The sales associate was able to map out our living space in front of us and determine what we can fit in our space. They have blocks to show the infinite amount of configurations you can do with your pieces, which makes the process less overwhelming since you can visually see it. From there, we just had to pick out the fabric and cushion type and the sales rep was very knowledgeable and provided us with good feedback for us to make a well informed decision.”

Dr Jarvie did excellent work on the crown. You can tell the office is very up to date with new dental technology, but they don’t push any unnecessary treatment.
