“Dr Kheir Al-Zouhayli is a wonderful doctor. He genuinely cares for his patients, which is why we drive the 1 hour and 12 minutes each month for our son’s appts. “After leaving a few other retailers dissatisfied with selection and service, I ended up in Pure Hockey. I apologized for arriving 30 minutes before closing time and explained I know nothing about ice skates, but I’d like to get some for recreational use. Nick immediately stepped out from behind the counter and walked me over to the display. He asked some questions, gave some product information , and did an analysis of my feet on the Bauer 3D Skate Lab. I was then given an explanation of the results and an offer to try on a couple pairs of skates. While Nick was lacing me up, he was explaining proper fit and features of both models. Once I made my selection the skates were baked, steels sharpened and installed, and details on store policy and product care were provided. Although my transaction wasn’t complete until after business hours, I was never made to feel rushed or pressured in any way. I left the store confident in my selection and look forward to trying out my skates.”

“I have been going to Golden Gate for well over 10 years now. I feel compelled to write a review because even during this Covid crisis their service and product are impeccable! When you enter the business, you will immediately feel comfortable because they have created this welcoming atmosphere. You will receive a thorough examination with absolutely no feeling like you are being rushed. The owners will help you pick out glasses and again, take their time. At no point will you feel like you are being rushed to make a decision. But their service doesn't end there. You can call or go back at any time for help or service. I love this place so much that I drive from Orchard Lake for appointments or service. You will not regret your decision to walk into Golden Gate. This really is a GOLDEN nugget in their little strip mall in Troy.”

“I came here for the first time and used the drive thru around noon. Asked for a winter blend medium iced coffee I was claiming for free on the DD app. No problem. I pull up to the window to scan my code to redeem it and it wouldn’t work. The cashier kept trying to scan it but it wouldn’t redeem on his end. He was very patient and called over a manager. After some more attempts he just handed me the coffee without any charge and comp’d it. Sorry to have held up the line for everyone but I appreciate their efforts to help me and honor the promotion! Will be back.”
