“Sunset Plaza Cleaners in the strip next to Kroger does a great job. Clothes are back in a very short time and in excellent condition. Jenny pays close attention to what you are turning in for dry cleaning or laundry takes and care of stain removal. Now that some of us are back to work, a much needed local service which is very well done.”

“I have been going to Primary Eye Care since 1986. Way back then, Dr. Sanford was recommended to me by a coworker (I was new to the Troy area), and I’ve been going there ever since. My daughters received their eye care from Primary Eye Care since their very first eye exams. The doctors are all caring, kind, and friendly. Dr. Schultz is a wonderful addition to the practice and truly cares about the whole patient’s care and well-being. She even gave me advice on my elderly mother’s MD. Michelle, has helped me pick out glasses for 13 years. She knows exactly which pair will fit the shape of your face and will look best on you. I always love the glasses she helps me with, and I get tons of compliments. The office personnel has been extremely helpful with appointments and insurance coverage. Appointment times are convenient for people like myself who work full time-especially when my children were young. I am in and out of the office in no time when I have appointments. As I get older, I will continue to put my trust into the loyal staff at Primary Eye Care. If you are looking for for a place to care for your family’s eye sight, I have experienced first-hand that Primary Eye Care has stood the test of time, and will continue to do so into the future. #2020visionandcare”

“This is a decent and convenient place to receive health care for internal medicine and to see me primary care physician. I've don't recall any instance of having to wait more than five minutes after my appointment time before being brought into an exam room. The nurses are efficient and polite. The building itself and some of the equipment is a little bit older. But it works fine and everything is very clean. And who needs a luxury room just to have your blood pressure and temperature taken? They also have an online website where you can see your health history and they will send out texts reminding you of your appointments. The doctor/assistant I see is very quick and efficient. So you have to ask questions as they won't go into detail or be extra chummy with you. So if you want a slower paced more personal connection, this probably isn't the place for you. But for me it's more than enough.”

“I think this store recently dropped the B in their name and added TR to be more inclusive. This place used to be called the Boy Scout Shop. I first visited in 2017 when I naively was looking for homes in trashy Troy. Coincidentally, I was working with a Boy Scout in St. Clair Shores trying to achieve Eagle Scout. He was building and donating to my daughter’s school a “little free library” as part of the 3-1-3 Project to place 313 libraries throughout the 3-1-3 area code. He deserved a thank you gift. I looked at tents and camping supplies. They had backpacks. If you’re looking for child friendly camping supplies, look here. The employee kept telling me a gift was not necessary since it’s a service project. I ended up giving him $100 cash since cash is king! This respectable 16 year old boy from St. Clair Shores was building over 50 environmentally friendly little libraries to donate, using spare and demolition parts from his father’s contracting jobs. He let me choose the color (blue and white for school colors), style, roof, fixtures, etc. He has a promising future unlike the Athens High School student who hit n run my Mustang during our school and daycare commute and drove off.”

“Jaycee Park is a great place to go and relax for a little while. It's always so well maintained and clean when you go there. You could have a picnic, read a book under a tree, go on the playground or have a nice walk along the river. This is one of my favorite parks to photograph at for family portraits, senior portraits and such.”

“The name here says it all! The environment here is all about natural wellness care. I had a massage with Debra and I loved it. She was gentle yet firm when she needed to be. She even massaged my face and I realized just how tense my jaw was. I have to say in the 20 years I have been getting massages I have found the best place! Thank you!”

“Dr. Sacksner performed 2 hernia procedures for me at Mclaren hospital in Pontiac. They were 8 months apart and did a great job and would highly recommend him for surgery. Very professional and knowledgeable in his field. Also, his assistants r very helpful for any questions or concerns you may have. Great team to be around when you want a peace of mind!”

“The ladies here are truly the best (and Nudge, too!). Everyone is so caring, they take time with you and most importantly they are gentle and understanding with your pets. Love them! Update: Just wanted to say my poor boy had to have his tail amputated due to really bad happy tail. The few weeks prior to surgery he was absolutely in agony. They scheduled him quick for surgery, took great care of him, and the day he got his tail amputated he was immediately in so much relief! 4.5 years with the same tail and I think Cletus is not only feeling better but enjoying his new look!”

“Great place! Had never been there before but went with my daughter one night just because they were open. What a great surprise. Traditional offerings with a unique twist that actually works. I had the chipotle chicken club and spicy tortilla soup (served w/ pita chip instead of tortilla) and both were great. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. All in all a great experience. Can’t wait to try them for breakfast!”

“1st of all Great Service! Hands down probably the best Service I've had for at least a year and if you look on my reviews time line I've been quite a few places. It was something about their patience and politeness. Very very rare! There chicken salads are really good. They don't through chicken salads on the menu to fill in their offerings they put though and effort in crafting salads. Another rarity! If your a salad consumer you know if there chicken salad is more of an after though by a non salad eater. Anyways, if you're in the area it's worth the stop for a bite. They're a bit pricey for the type of food but the service and quality of food is worth it.”
