“I pulled into the red arrow motel on Plymouth Road in Dixboro, Michigan in need of an inexpensive hotel room. I met Judith the owner. Very affable, very nice, and very matter-of-factly. She showed me a room and without hesitation, said it was “hospital clean” and she said it with all confidence. Now I’ve been on a journey for two months staying in cheap hotels and I honestly spent three days cleaning one of them and never got a chance to do my work (I'm an Artist and I need a clean environment to work in. Because I’m a clean freak (not to be confused with a germaphobe). I had to wipe down a table because of my clean tendencies. I was going to dry coffee cups on there. There was nothing on my paper towel!!! Amazing! The place really was "hospital clean"> So, just for grins and giggles, I did a little white glove in the bathroom and bedroom... It’s all hospital clean as well. Also the place is full of nostalgia. It has these old cabinets, old wood paneling, old fixtures, old lights, old fans, but there are no smells. There was even a little three wick candle that I could use in the room that smells nice. Based on the rate paid for four days… I got the best value of my entire ordeal at hotels, and I would include a couple of the major chain hotels that I stayed at. Thank you Judith!!! “Pool is amazing, hot tub is perfectly hot, sauna is good. Room was fancy, but the tv was too low, needs to be Mounted on the wall. the bidet was not functional and stunk like sewer, needed to be cleaned and working batteries in the remote. Shower in the room was phenomenal, loved it.”

“Great place to relax, talk about traveling, chill, and watch a pretty back yard. Marta was an excellent hostess during the couple months I stayed there, and she was more than helpful in making the time between my leases delightful. The place is a little off the beaten track, has free parking, and is very safe. It is right by one of the main bus lines, so getting around without a car is quite easy, and a 15-minute bike ride (she has bikes!) can take you downtown. She is very respectful and is a seasoned traveler. We had a lot of fun comparing notes! Highly recommended!”

“Nice comfortable rooms with ample work desk, comfortable office chair, and well equipped kitchenette. Provides a good selection of television channels including HBO and a decent gym. Walking distance to mall and many restaurants and only a couple miles to downtown Ann Arbor. Complimentary laundry and clean laundry room are great perk and one of main reasons I choose to stay here for extended stays. Front desk staff are also helpful and provide excellent customer service.”
