“Marlene and her husband John create wonderful pieces of folk art in a country setting that resonates of an earlier Amercian time. Such a joy to visit their home and studio. Takes me back in time. Marlene's flagship bird carvings are amazingly accurate depictions of real life birds. In recent years, she has expanded her carving offerings to include customizable hanging wall pieces that allow you to change your focal point for any holiday or celebratory event. She continues to add new carving subjects so that you are always able to add to your collection. Enjoy!”

“Los Tres Amigos is a beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere inside is beautiful, inviting, relaxing, and intimate! The booths are designed in a way that makes you feel very private! The bright colors, paintings, and decorations are festive and vibrant, but the lighting is suttle and perfect for romance OR business! The staff were friendly and efficient. The flavors of the food were good, but not powerful enough to make a huge impact. Most of the staff are of Hispanic descent, so they know what Mexican food should be, but the food didn't delight and wow me as really authentic Mexican food. Lunch portions are appropriately sized, but they weren't very generous with the salsa. Would I eat there again? Absolutely!!!! Would I drive 20 miles out of my way to eat there? No.”

“This is a gem of a Mexican restaurant a bit hidden near the corner of Packard and Carpenter road (you can't turn left into it directly when heading south on Carpenter). The menu options are great, the flavors are good (your family from Texas and Oklahoma will say it's okay), the service is prompt and friendly, and the pricing is very reasonable with good portions. Plenty of room to dine in (we had some nostalgia as it was clearly a Pizza Hut in its former life) and your craving for this cuisine will be satisfied when you leave.”
