“Not our first time here and won't be our last! I ordered fish tacos for the first time and loved them! Our waitress was fantastic. Only issue is that the a/c was pouring down on us so I was freezing. Hubby was fine though :-)”

“We enjoyed a fine evening of blues at Detroit's Raven Lounge on a recent Saturday night. We parked right on the street since we arrived well before the music began. Cover charge was $8 per person. We were seated at a great table and greeted by a warm, friendly woman who shared the menu options and drink specials for the evening. We ordered wine, beer and water. We'd already dined earlier, but just had to try the black eyed peas -- delicious!! Must return for a real meal.”

“Amazing food experience. The staff is super knowledgeable and the food is exceptional. We ordered way too much food and our server knew it so he suggested a lighter options for our progressive dinner.”

“McShane's - what can I say? The food - Yummy! The drinks - Drinkalicious! - fresh and varied The interior is a knock-out. There is a large play area with a couple of pool tables and a bar and further in there is a restaurant and connected eating area with another bar. As for the service there - can you say - Céad Míle Fáilte ? (A hundred thousand welcomes) - oh, they're just great!”

“Went with 4 other friends on a Saturday night - they had constant business. We wanted something quick so we all got the 3 pepperoni+pop for $3. They didn't have enough pepperoni in the case so we got other kinds of pizza for the same price which was really kind of them. Flavour tasted fine - good ratio of toppings and crust was between soft and crunchy.”

“I love this place for so many reasons. Between the beer, the burgers, the pizza, the community feel of its cafeteria-like setup, everything about this place makes you feel jolly. You really can't go wrong here. It's inventive and has so many exciting fresh flavors. Its use of mushrooms bring an earthy balance to the vibrant flavors of their beers(especially their more bitter grapefruit-like hefeweizen beer) . They do a great job The pizzas transport you not to Italy but Hawaii and California! It's just a great place to be as a single person or as a family! No matter what, the lines move fast at busier hours) You really can't go wrong here!”

“I met my sister and her family, at 6p, to celebrate my son's birthday. We ordered drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender was quick to help us. After being seated we ordered a couple of appetizers& another round of drinks was taken. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the Fungi pizza, it was delicious. Other than getting the feeling a being rushed a bit by the waiter the dinner was great. Parking was in the street. It was a very busy Saturday. We we're lucky to catch someone pulling out.”

“I remember having the best Banana Nut Pancakes at this place! The 2 times I've visited Detroit from Germany and stayed at the lovely Hostel Detroit nearby, I would always walk to this place for breakfast. Great memories!”

“Really good pizza and drinks! Located on the Woodward side of Little Caesars Arena. I stopped in during one of the Pistons game and glad I did the prices were normal not like the arena concessions which are pricey. Will be going back whenever I’m at a game. You can enter from in or outside the arena and if there is an event you will have to show your ticket to get into the arena once inside the arena.”

“Temple Bar is a venerable neighborhood bar on Cass in mid-town Detroit that has the dive-y feel you are looking for. A variety of clientele will certainly pique your interest. Live shows too. A mere two blocks away, Temple is a great place to go before or after a hockey game at Little Caesers Arena. This a great bar for a quiet night to just hang out. It's small, personal, and just fun. No fancy tables or servers or expensive drinks, just a classic, local bar with friendly people. The bartenders are so cool and chill. Definitely a great place to go after an event at the LCA!”
