The staff was friendly & efficient. First time going to an urgent care. I was quite impressed with this one. Today, I went to Downriver Clinic PC after a failed attempt at Beaumont Medical Center in Southgate where the doctor failed to diagnose me and prescribed unnecessary antibiotics. Frustrated, I went to Downriver Clinic and was seen within 1 hour. The Medical Assistant knew exactly what she was doing, and she explained everything in detail as she did it. Once I was diagnosed, the nurse practitioner explained why she was prescribing certain medications and the instructions that went along with them. She wrote down everything in case I forgot, and made sure that I was well take care of. Detroit Mercy Nurse Practitioners for the win.
