“Brenda has been my barber for 34 years and I am a lifelong client, despite having not lived in the area since 2003. I've lived in Lansing, Bowling Green (OH), and now in Ann Arbor. There isn't a distance too great for an appointment with Brenda. She remembers details about her clients and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Pre-pandemic, the barbershop was a comfortable, jovial, environment suitable for adults and children. During the pandemic, Brenda has followed the COVID-19 guidelines of appointment only services, maintaining more than 6 feet between active chairs, limiting capacity, providing face masks and hand sanitizer, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Even before the pandemic, Brenda maintained a very clean barbershop. Additionally, Brenda provides money for the parking meters, which is an added benefit for a Mack Avenue business.
