(October 16, 2022, 6:37 pm)Miller Woods is a beautiful little spot that I have very fond memories of from my childhood. Good year round for a short nature walk, but the absolute best time is in Autumn. Be sure to check it out when the trees are at peak color! It's very small, so no need to put on your hiking boots or pack any gear. Good spot to meditate in nature, learn about forests, or take pictures of birds and other woodland creatures. "Take only pictures, leave only footprints."

Lots of different fungi, which made the walk more interesting.

(February 17, 2020, 2:38 pm)Really great trail for getting kids acquainted with the woods and hiking. I enjoy the signage that labels trees and there are regular walks that you can go on with a guide for free. Watch out for a sign advertising the guided hikes.
