“We have been very fortunate since KNC caregivers started caring for our mom in July 2023. Kim (caregiver/employer), Naya (caregiver), and Erica (caregiver) have been extremely respectful, empathetic caregivers, and trustworthy professionals while making sure Mom is always safe. I have been especially thankful for their loyalty to her whenever she has needed extra help with others by explaining that she just needs more patience due to her needs. Mom is a delightful, loving women who also cherishes these ladies that help her. Kim has taught her caregivers many skills to strengthen their patience, gain a willingness to understand Mom’s words and actions, and respond to her with dignity. She has encouraged them to empathize with Mom, when needed. As a result, they have sometimes identified and shared her special needs before my brothers, and I have. The caregivers offer kind, supportive assistance without patronizing or giving judgmental responses. More importantly, Kim, Naya, and Erica take the time to let Mom make simple choices as she navigates through her day. I hoped that Mom would continue to maintain her loving, friendly spirit when we brought KNC Care into her life, and Mom still has that joyful spark in her disposition! “I went in to have a biopsy of a lump on my jaw under my ear. Of course I would be nervous. Its my face...and a needle going into my face. When the man called my name he had a big smile on his face and shook my hand. He explained to me step by step what was going to happen. He asked if I was comfortable. He asked if he could do anything to make me more comfortable. There were 4 people in the room with me including the doctor. The doctor told me what he was doing at every step. He spoke to me the whole time as did everyone else. When he started to numb the area he told me it was going to burn. I couldnt see anyone but I could hear them. And as the needle went in I felt one of them take my hand. That person held my hand until the numbing set in and I loosened my grip. They all encouraged me and told me how well I was doing. They joked with me about the ice coffee I was looking forward to. One of them spoke to my sister in the waiting room twice during my half an hour procedure and made her laugh when he told her I would need to hold the side of my face while drinking the iced coffee so it didnt spray out of the holes. (Lol) Which made her less nervous. Keep up the good work Dr Raju, kevin,stacey,and Richard you are AMAZING! and I appreciate you”
