Everyone comes together to help one another. It is a Leader in Me School and the atmosphere is different from anything I've ever experienced in my 18+ years with DPSCD. Students get to learn academics and life skills beyond the classroom. We offer all kinds of opportunities for students to learn sports, arts and crafts, dance, computer homework help, soccer...all after school. The parents have been actively running the PTA organization and have there own room where parents can get the support they need. Teachers collaborate so that children are getting the best education. It's been a wonderful place to work!”

“Matthew is a great teacher! He is very patient and motivating. He creates achievable goals which help me to see the progress I made over the past months. His teaching approach ensures that I develop all skills and not only focus on one of them (intonation, rhythm, positions etc.). I also learn a lot about my Cello as an instrument in regards to what strings to use, new bows etc. as well as music theory. The recitals every 6 months are also helpful to practice playing in front of other people and not only for yourself. I highly recommend Matthew as a teacher.”

“This School is a golden gem, I am very selective about my children education I have 2 kids who attend and they have helped my daughter with not just her education but her self esteem, You will notice 95 % of the negative comments surround "money", there is even a comment that states "the education is great but the price is high". My daughter knows so much my son knows words I didn't even know lol...so my recommendation is if you want the BEST education for your kid including culture send them here, if the fees are concerning just ask what all in total you will be spending then ask for small arrangements, like I did. Other than that the school defeats ANY other school I researched for my 2 young Black Children!!”

“Name is Christian, I wasn't expecting to find a storage unit really affordable by the end of the month however I did here. Desi helped out knowing it's the first time I've been here, my mother tagged along and pretty much we got the full welcoming. Everything went smooth and timely, Desi gives out useful tips and hacks about the overall use of the facility to make sure we're taken care of and won't have to jump through loops when coming by ourselves here. Not to mention Desi is really down to earth hilarious and will make sure you leave with a smile on your face. I'll recommend anyone to stop by here before heading to uhaul or public storage. It's affordable and really clean, also there's inside drive way to keep warm and stay out of harsh weather which is pretty sweet!”

There was alot of cars in line, but it went pretty fast. It was the first time I tried their sweet tea and it was really good. I don't know why I waited so long to return to Checkers. Instead of my child being happy/excited on the last day of school, she was balling her eyes out because of leaving Mrs Dawson! “Everyone there is absolutely amazing! They have a great staff that truly care about the kids. I have 2 kids that go there full time, and a school ager who is starting after school and they watch him on school days off. All of their teachers are fantastic. I love getting pictures of them throughout the day too! The director is hands down the easiest person to talk to where it just feels like you are talking to another mom who gets it. My kids always come home happy and CLEAN! (Which was a big problem at one of our previous daycares) Overall, they take care of my kids, and I know they treat them right, which is all that matters to me! 🥰”
