“I HAD to write a review for this vet. Where do I start? My pup was being very odd so I brought her in, we are visiting from Texas & this vet was able to squeeze us in because other vets were booked but they still managed to work around us. They made me feel so welcomed, friendly staff & Dr, I wish I could bring them to Texas with me. When I picked up my baby she was acting normal, they really care for all the clients & patients. My heart is so grateful & a plus is that they have candles which smell AMAZING!! Of course I purchased one 🥰”

“This is my cat Princess. She is very shy and always very afraid of the Vet. We saw Dr. Allerhand and boy was I impressed. She treated my baby like you would treat a human baby. She was soft voiced very gentle with how she handled her. I know from other vets we have seen the the vets and vet techs want to be the ones handling your pet but Companion is different. They want your animal to feel safe and secure and allow you to give them that feeling during their exam. Dr Allerhand is the most kind Veterinarian I’ve ever met. The entire Staff at the pet hospital and boarding group have only the best intentions for your pet or as I call them furrr babies. “My parents have been taking our family dog to Pilot Knob Animal Hospital for as long as I can remember. They've only ever had positive things to say about the staff and the care our dog Watson has received. So when it came time to choose a vet for my new rescue pup Ernie, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to choose Pilot Knob Animal Hospital for his care--even though we live 25 minutes away! Whether on the phone or in person, every interaction I have with staff is a pleasant, positive one. Any time I have an emergency or feel stressed about my pup, they answer my questions on the phone and squeeze us in for an appointment if need be. The quality of care we receive is top notch. I know he is always in good hands. I also appreciate that they don't run expensive tests just to charge us more money. They are very honest with what tests or procedures they advise. Can't say enough good things about PKAH. I highly recommend!”
