“Tons to do here, all seasons. Lots of well maintained biking and walking trails, a beach, paddle board and kayak rentals, and more. We live in between here, French and weaver lake parks, and love them all. A great summer spot that can feel like you’re not near the cities.. and in the winter, ice fishing and snowshoeing are options. A few years ago they had the polar plunge at Fish Lake, which was a blast. Check it out!”

“Weaver Lake Community Park is one of the best I’ve seen in this country so far. This had a mixture of everything a family gathering could want. Fishing, walking trails, various types of ball fields, picnic areas and even a place for swimming. The girls and I walked around this park three times because we loved it that much.”

“Very clean unique play area. Our kids range from youngest being 2 to oldest being 5 and was so much for them all to do and enjoy. I even enjoyed some of the slides. Nice picnic tables spread about and clean restrooms to use if needed. Definitely will need to go back and explore more of the park.”

Their staff is wonderful and friendly and make you feel welcome and wanting to come back. Highly recommend a hike or snowshoe in the woods and even a moment in the main lobby.”

“This is a nice neighborhood park with a baseball field, tennis courts, and a basketball court. It has no pavilions and not much seating. There is a climbing playground, and swings for children. The open field are used for soccer practices, and for ad-hoc activities like boomerangs and drones.”
