“These guys were great. Bought a new ebike from them. The guys at the shop knew the product and were able to help me with the section process. I had it shipped to Chicago. We had a problem with it being damaged in shipping. Support was super responsive in mitigating the issue and had a new bike shipped out to me almost immediately. They were able to source a new one internationally and get it to me without incident. Next time I buy a bike they're definitely at the top of my list.”

“Good variety of sporting equipment. However the shelves, items aren't always neatly placed on the racks and looks a little messy/disorganized. Items are thrown over the racks, such as winter coats. The employees are nice and one gentleman that was working Saturday night, helped us unlock a winter coat to try on. He was very nice, prompt and followed up with us if we liked it. We found a better price on the manufacturer site and purchased there but appreciated his assistance.”

“I unloaded my E-bike in Victoria recently to ride the Lake Minnetonka bike trail with a friend only to discover the chain somehow got seriously jammed in the derailleur. Spokes was the closest bicycle shop to our location. The shop wasn’t opened so we did not call ahead. We just showed up. A man ( I assume now to be Justin) attended to us. He released the jammed chain with a special tool, re-attached the chain, tightened the cable. He directed me to ride the bike in the parking lot to be certain the gears worked. They did! I asked what I owed him and he replied “No Charge!” WOW! I was able to continue with my day, enjoying the beautiful Minnetonka bike trail with my friend! Thank you, so much for your time, talent and generosity!! I live in Minneapolis but Spokes is now saved in my favorites for future bike needs. Biking trails with a reliable bike service nearby like Spokes is very reassuring!”

“I was in the middle of the Tour Divide bike race and was having horrible knee pain. I spent a day icing my knees in a hotel in Lincoln, Montana but it was not enough. I knew without a fit adjustment I was not going to make it. I was getting desperate sitting in my hotel googling bike fitters. I had never contacted Chris before. He responded almost immediately during his vacation and helped me out. While it was not a proper bike fit as it was over the phone with photos, it helped tremendously and allowed me to continue. I couldn't believe how willing he was to help. Highly recommend.”

“Brian was very helpful and nice he helped pick out the perfect bike for my daughter’s 8th birthday present!! He also suggested we teach her to ride without training wheels on a tennis court. We took her to the courts and had her riding without training wheels in less than 20 minutes with zero falls!”

“Nice store with all your sporting needs. The staff needs some retraining on greeting customers. We encountered 6 people before anyone said hello or do you need help. The older gentleman (cashier) was super friendly. He said thanks for choosing my line. Kuddos to him.”

“I picked up my three speed last night and was so happy with the work. I had new brakes put on and cables and when they saw I could use new bearings they called first to ask if I wanted that done. I even got a cool new fender to replace my defunct vintage one. Thank you! Gregory”

“This is one of the easiest 5 stars I will give. Freewheel Bike, specifically the Richfield location, has been outstanding in their service even during the busiest time of their shop's history. I needed my bike to be re-cabled and tires setup tubeless in a rapid turnaround, and they stayed an hour after close to work on my bike. Even better, they did it with a smile and let me hang around until finished. Tom Lais, one of the shop employees, conversed with me about stories and lessons regarding bikes, adventure, and life. I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. I will be returning to this shop for my bike needs from now on. As someone who has been to 10+ shops in the Twin Cities, this has been my favorite! Thanks for the awesome service!”

“I took my son’s bike in to get fixed, having never gone to a bike shop before. They were friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job. I was worried it was going to cost an arm and a leg, but I felt the price was great/fair. I would definitely use them again!”

“First class bike shop. Incredible service and product knowledge. I've been taking my bike here since I moved to the area and they usually have same day turn around for anything other than a full tune up. Their prices are also incredibly fair. Seems like a bike shop driven by people passionate about cycling which is always welcome and very refreshing while many shops are cliquey and pretentious.”

““Fancy Latte” Came here to pick up drinks to meet a friend, on their recommendation, and needed them to travel. No scoffs at the request for double cups, and they were happy to answer my questions. They gave great recommendations, and the attention to detail in the drink making was extremely impressive. Sorry the visit was short this time. I plan to drive the 20 minutes again to get the full experience! Had the “fancy latte” (vanilla and cardamom I believe!?), and it was delicious.”

“Great bike shopping experience during COVID-19. I called to schedule an appointment to see some bikes in the store and was given some options for bikes that fit my needs and price range. The first bike I was shown by staff was perfect for what I wanted and rides so smoothly. I was able to pick up the bike the next day and have been very pleased. Thank you to the staff at Hub Co-op who not only offered great advise, but also maintained social distancing practices within the store set up that felt safe. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone else looking to purchase a new bike.”
