“1st time eating here and trying Cambodian food and it was a great experience! Ordered the Siem Reap Sour Soup, Pak Lou, & Lot Chha Hollywood Noodles. Pak Lou and the sambal type sauce that came with it was a winner!!! Haven't seen pig ear on the menu in MN and was missing the flavor and texture. Thiis dish really satisfied my craving. Siem Reap Sour Soup reminded me of a slightly sweeter Sinigang. Lot Chha noodles were tasty with lots of vegetables, shrimp, and squid! Many restaurants out here skimp on the shrimp or have very tiny, kinda fishy shrimps, but these were nice, bouncy, and fresh! Would definitely come back again to try other dishes. The lady taking orders and serving our food was also very friendly. She was kind enough to explain to us what was in the sambal type sauce that came with the Pak Lou because we loved it so much. Even got extra to take home with our leftovers!”

“It’s a great place to come for a date or hang out with friends and family. Either way you’ll have a great time and your belly will be satisfied. 10 out of 10. P.S. the arcade games are great!!”

“Food is bomb and definitely what I was looking for. Only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the cashier. He was kinda rude and I felt like he was rushing me. Plus it was my first time there so when i asked a few questions and he couldn't give me the answer I just ordered.”

“Ethio Market is in the basement of an apartment complex just east of where Highway 5 turns into West Seventh Street. The store has a good variety of spices for Ethiopian home cooking, prepared injera and Ethiopian wheat bread, meats, and twenty-five pound bags of teff flour.”

“My favorite restaurant for Mexican food. Have eaten there for over 30 years. This is a true review. There are other great Mexican restaurants in the St Paul area but you have to try La Cucaracha. Dale and Grand Ave.”

“I think this must be the Burger King in North St Paul and it's truly the best Burger King because the people who work there are always extremely nice even when they're extremely short-staffed which I've seen happen often. I've been very impressed taking an individual that I'm working for and with through the drive-thru with the line that's going very slow because they've only got two employees yet they still are pleasant and get the job done. I don't think I've met such happy people working under these conditions. It is my favorite Burger King out there. It's not near my house so I only go there when I'm working but I sure wish I had one in my area with people that were this nice.”

“Cute, old-fashioned looking ice cream parlor. We didn't eat but we all had ice cream and it was delicious. There are TONS of flavors so check the tags on the glass, the list on the far right, and the large sign hanging near the register as they have different flavors listed. You get an extra scoop but luckily their signs show how many scoops you actually get (a small is 2 scoops for $4.75, medium is 3 scoops for $6, large is 4 scoops, etc.). I use the term "scoop" loosely as it was a huge amount and not traditional scoop. I saw a couple kids with tiny cones and a tiny scoop of ice cream that is perfect for kids (and I wish a had known about it before ordering a "small" for our child because it was more like a pint! Fun, nostalgic atmosphere. Very large servings. Great value. Pleasant, friendly staff. They had a steady stream off customers getting ice cream, hot dogs, pizzas, etc. the entire time we were there (which was over an hour while we were eating all that ice cream) and it wasn't even a hot summer day. Dar's Double Scoop shares restrooms with Hunter's Boys restaurant next door, which was closed or out of business but you could still access the bathrooms. Free on-street parking I front and next to building. May have a small lot in back.So glad we found it on a Google search after the place we planned to go to was closed on Sundays. We will definitely go back.”

“I went Thursday night for reggae night and had the jerk chicken plate. It was very delicious. Had a drink from the bar and the bartender was super cool. They also had a life dj spinning dancehall and reggae music. Great chill laid back environment. I’ll go back.”

“An easy 5 stars—will definitely be back. The food was deliciously well-prepared and presented, service was friendly and accomodating, and the atmosphere was clean, bright, and cozy. Could not have asked for more! I highly recommend the chicken wings which came hot and crispy, the papaya salad which was sweet, tart, and savory, the spring rolls which were filling and expertly wrapped, the masaman curry which was rich and flavorful, and the cilantro chicken broth which washed everything down with a savory finish. The food came out fast and we left feeling very happy and satisfied. It’s definitely worth a stop for the food alone. The service and ambience were cherries on top. Thank you Basil Cafe!”

“This is pretty much the epitome of a dive bar, and that’s not a bad thing! 🍻 The burger was huge, and was darn tasty, though it had a lot of bread and toppings that kind of muted the burger flavor. I’d opt for a different one next time. The tuna sandwich was really tasty and unexpectedly spicy. Totally solid fries and that salad was SO GOOD. It hit the spot with some delightfully runny ranch! 👨🍳🍟 We’ll be back!”

“Ordered the rodeo burger and there were barely any bbq sauce. Thus, the burger were really dried. Service was amazing. One of the employees gave us lots of ketchups and that was really great. Usually, fast food charges for sauce and whatnot.”

“Everything we had was delicious! Cocktails were great and we ordered quite a few apps (we got 1 per person since we split entrees but about 1 per 2 people would be about right as they are on the smaller side). We then got 3 orders of dumplings to share between 6 people. The service, food, and ambiance were all outstanding. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!”

“Fantastic American diner. This place is a throwback. I had the Two by Two (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, and two bacon) and it was delicious. Exactly what one expects from a classic breakfast joint. The booths and the aesthetic inside the diner are nostalgic.”

“Very friendly, prompt and polite staff! Ordered online and the food was ready for pickup when I arrived! The sandwiches were fresh and prepared exactly how we ordered them online, Subway is nothing compared to Erbert & Gerbert’s!!”

“The French fries was fantastic. This is a regular fry, you should share with at least 3 others. The pizza is sausage, and it was fabulous! Be prepared to wait a long time if you come on Fridays in the summer. Friday is their weekly car show downtown North Saint Paul.”

“Always great experience!!😁 Great food, awesome staff. I highly recommend trying it!! Plus I think they have free bingo on Thursdays, not sure what the prizes are but get there EARLY if you want a place to sit. Also not sure if it is a seasonal thing 🤔 so you might want to call before you go. (For bingo).”

“Some of the best burgers in town! They are kid friendly which is nice, but you can also catch a game while you're there. Their Mushroom and Swiss was AMAZING! I also LOVE their fries. I'm not much of a burger and fry person, but this place is SO good that I go there for the burgers and fries. Also loved there cookie that they do in a skillet. With the ice cream, that was SUPER great! Our waitress was very sweet and helpful! They have pull tabs and a patio, too.”

“I wrecked on of my tires and had it replaced at Affordable Tire. After, there was a warning light, that Affordable Tire couldn't figure out. Not to worry, they sent me to Xpress Tire and had me ask for Alfredo. Alfredo was great. He dug into the issue and got it resolved. I guess Alfredo works at both places. There are four brothers that work at the two locations. All very pleasant and very customer focused. We need more shops like this.”

“Had a great experience at J. Selby's! I took my dad who is not vegan and he was shocked at how spot on the flavors of everything were. He was super impressed with the crispy chicken sandwich and how the crunch and the juiciness of it was just like chicken. We also got the dirty secret which was amazing as well. It reminded us of a big mac but with a whopper patty. Their tots were also perfectly seasoned! We tried the tots as chili cheese tots. Great vegan fast food and very clean seating area. Recently tried two of the specials, the steak sandwich and the Nashville hot chicken, both were delicious. Honestly the Nashville hot chicken was the best I've ever had and it's not even chicken which really says something. The pickles were perfect and I loved that it was served on Texas toast. Finally tried the animal style fries and they're a must eat!”

“This location is awesome. You guys always work hard and deliver an excellent experience. Tonight you guys were swamped and it was taking longer than usual but you all performed an excellent service and the food you served was better than someone expects from a quick pizza, as it always is. This team rocks.”

“today, they were extremely busy! i applaud the employees for keeping their cool, and for being so patient. other customers were frustrated with the wait, which was completely understandable, but some were just downright rude. this is the first time i’ve seen the staff visibly upset, as this is one of my frequent places to eat and i have never seen them anything other than smiling. nonetheless, despite the rush and backed up orders, the food was delicious as always, and i only hope that more people will grow to love this taqueria.”

“One of best McDonald's in North Minneapolis/ surrounding area. Service is quick, pleasant, and always correct! The good comes out hot and the burgers aren't squished like other places. The burger toppings are placed inside the bun correctly and not just thrown on and messy when you open it to eat.”

“I just visited their shop in St Paul today and had a great experience. My daughter had a Ultimate Oreo Waffle Bowl which she thought was delicious, plus the waffle was super crunchy and fresh. I had a classic vanilla shake and I must say it was the most delicious vanilla shake I have ever had! Thanks Coco for that shake and for amazing customer service! You guys are great! We will certainly be coming back!”
