“Dead of winter, the usual battery failure. Other garages in the area wanted to schedule mr out at least a day. Guys at the shop fit me in, were conscientious about the quality of battery. As I come from a family with mechanics, I could see they are an honest garage. Always a plus. Not only did they fit me in, but also obliged an oil change, tire pressure check & fluid top up. All at a reasonable price. Nothing overcharged. Fantastic customer service!!! Car handles better with correct tire pressure. They did everything they said they would do. And their prices are excellent for the average working class. Every customer that came in while I waited boasted about their honesty and quality. “I’ve lived here with my dad since I was 3 1/2 years old and it’s actually a great environment. No, it’s not a rich people place by any means and it’s not the most attractive place, but it is an extremely safe neighborhood. I’ve been here 15 years and not once has anything been stolen, broken or vandalized by anyone. These other people leaving bad reviews are wrong about this place. Like I said, it’s not pretty by any means but there’s some great people in here and on my block we all take care of each other. Although, I do agree with the pothole comments. It’s ridiculous on some streets. Don’t drive any nice cars through here lol. You’ll regret it. Other than that, it’s really not bad. Looks can be deceiving but I promise it’s not bad. I grew up here. Everyone also keeps to themselves here. You’ll only be bothered if you’re doing the bothering. Cheers!”

“We have been taking our 3 cars to this Brausen Auto shop for 8+ years and they have been very good to us. I wanted to take this moment to say a heartfelt "thank you" to Ryan who went over and beyond the call of duty. We had just gotten a new battery put in our Toyota Camry, then drove to Costco Maplewood to get groceries when our car failed to start - again. I, immediately, phoned Ryan and told him what happened. It was, end of the day, near closing, but he assured us that someone would be out to take us (and our frozen groceries) home and a separate tow to bring back the vehicle to their shop in Arden Hills. Well, Ryan showed up himself, pretty quick, and did some quick tests to see if it would start, helped us grab all our belongings and groceries, and rescued us in his brand-new ride all the way home to Blaine. To say the least, I was very impressed and grateful with his level of care and can't thank him enough for taking such good care of us. We, also, find them competitive in pricing, trustworthy and prompt, which is why we continue trusting them with our vehicles.”
