“The lady that checked me and I handed her my ID and credit card. She didn't know what my credit card was. Breakfast consisted of biscuits and gravy scrambledogs, potatoes, and sausage lengths along with juice and three types of cereal. I got a sweet that was very small. It was the size of a standard room with Nathan special in it. The gal that checked me out was nice. Polite courteous I believe she was also the breakfast. Lady. My opinion the hotel compares to the super eight that's right next door.”

“Location was a little tricky to get to, but not terrible. The staff did a great job facilitating my request to check in an hour early despite being booked the day prior with many rooms to turn over. The room itself was a good size with two queen beds, classic decor and clean. The beds were cozy and we had no noise issues. Continental breakfast had a great variety that my kids and I enjoyed, including a waffle maker, toaster items, mini cinnamon rolls, cereal, juice, oatmeal and likely more. The dining area was exceptionally clean with nice big windows for a sunny atmosphere. As we left, I noticed in the daylight how nice the entryway is and they seem to have a side room for parties or events with a nearby dedicated bathroom. Very grateful for this affordable option that exceeded my expectations as we headed home after a family wedding! Disliked · An extra blanket in the room would be nice. I don't really have anything negative to share!”

“Merrill was really good and had a lot of patience with our 7 months old Pup Dakota. She is not comfortable with other people and dogs right away, the first time we dropped off her to Chip's Palace, Merrill knows exactly how make Dakota feel comfortable. Merrill response very quickly and shares pictures and videos in Snapchat. We have let Dakota stayed with Merrill couple weekends now and you can tell that Dakota is enjoying her stay and having fun and meeting new friends!!”

“great time for the bachelor party. We showed up a little late and Guss was there ready to be our reff. He was a lot of fun, and kept it interesting with new games each time. Once our private group time was up, we joined open play and had a great time with other groups out there. They mix up the rental guns with electronic gun players so each team is fair. We stayed until the last match we had so much fun. They even let us brink a lot of beer!! This place is a very good time. Its just too bad their field selection did NOT match their listings online. We wanted to play capture the castle. I guess the swamps are taking over certain parts..”

“Have to admit, wasn't expecting a Comfort inn to be this nice. I think they just redid everything, literally that or it was just built. Lots of other places will half repair stuff, but this place was updated quite nicely, no shortcuts in the updates that I could see. Seemed like whoever owns this place cares, and want to provide an excellent facility along with a reasonable price. Breakfast quality of food was lacking, but there was a decent spread. I hope the get better biscuits, gravy, and eggs, but the waffles, sausage, and potatoes were good enough. Had several juice options, and multiple cereal options. Again, real surprised at how nice it was.”

The maintenance staff is very courteous very quick and very professional to repair any issues you might need repaired. Everybody is helpful everybody is so friendly this is the best mobile home Community I believe I have ever seen.”

“I booked a room at Nicolin for my dad to stay while he was in town for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Location was very convenient as it was close to food and other amenities in town. The owner went out of his way to ensure all of my dad's needs were met, and was incredibly friendly and helpful. This meant a lot to me as my father is older and I'm very protective of him! The yard space was very nice....was not able to enjoy it due to the cold winter weather, but it would be an excellent space to enjoy in nicer weather. Very much enjoyed the breakfast as well. Would absolutely book again!!”

Small town quite location, with super friendly staff. Good price, pool and hot tub worked, plus they had a breakfast. If we find ourselves back in the area we will definitely stay here again!”

“Interesting place to stay. The lake is accessible from a few spots with a nice beach and pavilion area. The campground is fairly disconnected from the water and bathroom facilities. Depending on which side of the strip you were on you needed a minimum of 30 feet of sewer hose. Back to back Campers share a single pedestal with 50 amp plugs and water/sewer. Typically noisy parties on the weekends. Monthly rates. Definitely recommend having a water softener if staying any length of time.”

“Visited this labor day. This is good campground for first time campers. Near to civilization so you can run to a store if you forgot something or near by restaurant. Car parking and campsite is very close so we carried too many items from home. Bathrooms are clean. This park has lot of activities swim beach, hiking , biking etc. Very safe but little noisy at night we could hear car passing by and there is no policy for quite time after 10 pm. We had a good family time.”

There were only 6 stalls set-up, so we had to wait to hit. The range is short and narrow, almost like it was an after-thought. It needs to be redone to live up to the magnificence of the course!”
