Great park for fun and bday parties! But the portapotties are something to be desired. It would be nice to have the bathrooms opened and not locked all the time.
Grilled there and played on the park. Fun and scenic. Highly recommend. Kids always ask to go.
This is one of many lovely parks in Monticello. Lots of play structure options for kids of all ages. There's a nice picnic shelter and a sand volleyball court. The park is well maintained, with tons of mature oak trees, including one I've taken to calling Methuselah due to its enormous circumference and size. Trust me, the picture doesn't do its size justice!
My kids and I enjoy going here in the evening, and it's usually pretty busy. You know it's a good park when there's always other families there!
The park had lots of people today. Monticello Days. A car show which is why I went. Lots of neet cars. Must have been over a hundred of them ranging from about 1903 to 2019. There was food and games. Sloppy Joes were great.
