“For a public library in a small rural town, this library boasts the largest media collection I've ever seen in a public format. Not only is it well stocked with books, CDs, DVDs, books on tape and Blu-rays, the large building can accommodate a large number of visitors. This, coupled with their free masks, sanitizers, and return sanitization process allows for a safer experience in these trying times. The Zumbrota Public Library has saved me hundreds of dollars in rental or purchase fees of media and books just in the past few months that I've been cooped up at home. In the wake of covid-19, its turned into one of my most valuable resources for relaxation and combating boredom. No matter who you are, you'll find something here for you. As of August 3rd, 2020 masks are still mandatory while in the library, and are provided.”

“If you live anywhere near Columbia Heights, MN... this is a wonderful library. It has a great selection of books, plentiful conference/private rooms, helpful staff, and it is very spacious and clean. I needed to print some materials and, after asking for assistance, was shown how to do it. It was a fairly easy process and cost effective if you don't usually print a lot of things (10 cents for B n W copies). There is a nice fireplace located in the center of the library. I love the layout of this building and how comfortable it feels. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and knowledgeable. They did everything they could to help me out. One staff member showed me how to download the Libby app to check out books online as well as audio books. She walked me through every step and asked questions along the way to make sure I knew how to do something. I went around 10:30 am on a weekday (they open at 10:00 am every day. So it was still pretty quiet as school isn't out yet. This is a great place to go whether you're by yourself or taking your family. They have a play area in the back for kids as well as a great selection of children's books. What's also nice about this library is the simplicity... it's spacious but not overwhelming. It has elements of color and design, but it doesn't distract you from sitting and reading or walking through the aisles. The city and residents of Columbia Heights should be very proud of this library and the amazing staff they have working there who are serving our community! It is definitely worth going and exploring this treasure of literature and learning.”

“What a great museum! Lively too! We walked in to find a student group and an assisted living group visiting at the same time. Not to mention several volunteers working on collections projects. Lots of great things to see here—especially the interaction of students and seniors. This museum plays an essential role in the wider community and is definitely not a dusty old building. A very energizing place! My favorite display was the tilt a whirl exhibit.”

“Such a lovely, small, clean and quiet library. I like going there and using their computers when I don't have a laptop handy or a printer. I love this addition to the community of Wyoming. I recommend stopping in for a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy a good book.”

“A full academic library that includes many study rooms, open study spaces, as well as many resources and services for research and projects such as the research librarians, Digital Scholarship Center, writing and oral presentation help desks, and circulation desk. Other than books, students are able to check out media equipment such as cameras, video cameras, projectors, microphones, speakers, and audio recording devices. Rolvaag Memorial Library shares its collection with Carleton College, so the collections act as one, more than doubling the number of physical items available. All in all Rolvaag Memorial Library is one of the best academic libraries around!”

“I recently had a bracket break on my kitchen drawers that is no longer produced and was lucky enough to find a 3d printer file for the part. I found online that many Dakota County libraries (including Wescott) offer 3d printing and made an appointment to try it out. The staff at Wescott were really helpful and patient when I arrived and didn't really know what I was doing. I learned that I should have booked a tutorial session in addition to reserving the 3d printer, but the staff was nice enough to help me out since the library wasn't that busy. It was a lot of fun to learn how to use the printer and the staff helped walk me through all of the steps in the process. The bracket printed successfully (it took about an hour and a half to print all 430 layers) and my drawer is fixed! I want to try to design some other (more fun) items and use the printer again in the future.”

“Who reviews libraries? Well, us! We absolutely love the librarian at the Chaska location. She was such an informative woman, knowledgeable and thoughtful to my daughter, age 10. She had so many encouraging reading programs and incentives for avid summer readers. Great new update to the library as well. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication to our children's education.”

“Small, cozy place. Nice selection. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't find what you're looking for, simply order it to be delivered when it's available. In the non-winter months be sure to wander into the woods to find the secret reading nook underneath an ancient tree with great history.”

“For this being one of the smaller libraries in Anoka County it seems to have a really good selection of materials. This library is part of the system which allows me to obtain anything as long as another library in the system has the item I want to borrow. One of the main features is the ability to request items to be placed in a pick up locker which allows me to get the item at anytime, even when the library is closed.”

“I have been bringing my kids to this library for almost 17 years. They are wonderful with kids of all ages. Cindy reads to the younger kids in the park in the summer and it is just wonderful. She’s so animated and keeps the kids engaged. She picks fun themes and has all kinds of props and music. My teenaged son plays Dungeons and Dragons with friends which is put on by the library from time to time. I have even joined some ladies to knit/crochet by the corner fireplace. Something for everyone!”
