“Cute, old-fashioned looking ice cream parlor. We didn't eat but we all had ice cream and it was delicious. There are TONS of flavors so check the tags on the glass, the list on the far right, and the large sign hanging near the register as they have different flavors listed. You get an extra scoop but luckily their signs show how many scoops you actually get (a small is 2 scoops for $4.75, medium is 3 scoops for $6, large is 4 scoops, etc.). I use the term "scoop" loosely as it was a huge amount and not traditional scoop. I saw a couple kids with tiny cones and a tiny scoop of ice cream that is perfect for kids (and I wish a had known about it before ordering a "small" for our child because it was more like a pint! Fun, nostalgic atmosphere. Very large servings. Great value. Pleasant, friendly staff. They had a steady stream off customers getting ice cream, hot dogs, pizzas, etc. the entire time we were there (which was over an hour while we were eating all that ice cream) and it wasn't even a hot summer day. Dar's Double Scoop shares restrooms with Hunter's Boys restaurant next door, which was closed or out of business but you could still access the bathrooms. Free on-street parking I front and next to building. May have a small lot in back.So glad we found it on a Google search after the place we planned to go to was closed on Sundays. We will definitely go back.”

“The food was delicious and they were understandably busy. Most people seemed to be getting take out but they did have an ample seating area. The entry area was a bit cramped and it was difficult to maunver from the ordering counter to the register. There were shelves and shelves of pig figurines in the entry area. They were not overly dusty, but they made the entry feel cluttered and took up space that could have been used for standing room. We ordered two full slabs of ribs with spicy sauce, baked beans, and cole slaw. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, smokey, and delicious. The spicy BBQ sauce was not super spicy (had a nice zip to it), and not too sweet - very good! I like a little more heat, but flavor is more important. The baked beans were very good and the coleslaw was fantastic! I would absolutely order food again as take out!”

Watching the boats go by will never ever get old and there are plenty! The food: For apps the country roll ups are crazy good. Huge portions and the fire roasted salsa and Chipotle ranch should be sold in bottles. It's that good. The burgers are cooked absolutely perfect. The lettuce is fresh as hell and crispy. “Service was a step ahead! From the moment we walked in and down the stairs we were welcomed and the atmosphere is awesome. We sat right down around a game table with our own fireplace and a beautiful view of the lake. The food was great. The kids had pancakes and a burger, I went in for the halibut tacos and the wife took part of the salmon bowl. All was delicious. We jumped in for the peaches and cream and blood orange beers. Overwhelmed by the drink selection for margaritas, the chips and queso (to die for), and the tacos are street style and they come one by one and you order as many as you like but everything was amazing and no disappointments 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾!!! I wanted to be near the water this summer or I could just sit and eat and enjoy the views the warm sun maybe even makes new friends. So I reached out on the neighborhood app and ask those around me where is a good place to go and everybody loves. The outpouring response that I got was beautiful and amazing and I've tried this one as well as another one area and they both provide a unique experience all its own. But considering this place was the one place everybody talked about the most because of the margaritas and the tacos but mainly The margaritas LOL!!! Now by no means I'm not going to tell you that this is Taco Bell or anything like this cuz it's good quality food good quality drinks and I haven't even told you about the view yet so go to spend a little money on yourself because it's definitely well worth it! So the location yes it is on the lake to the point where if you're on a boat you can even pull right on up with your boat and park come in have a little something to eat a little drink and then head on out! I'm not sure but the seasonal hours are because everything is outside and there's no indoor seating at all. So I would definitely say go by yourself and go with some buddies or maybe even on a date night, but it definitely is worth it and if you beg to differ then there's something wrong with you haha! Because it's it by the water to enjoy the sunshine in the tranquility that is around I feel like you just can't let anything get you down. So go see my girl Kate she is a drop dead gorgeous young lady, men I do not know if she is single I did not ask that I guess she was just have to go and ask for her and be nice tip generously they work hard but be nice cuz I will ask her haha! “Stopped in for lunch and was immediately welcomed by the owner. Being my first time he made many great suggestions and was able to substitute things I did not prefer having on my dog. The service overall was great and the staff were very attentive, courteous, and accommodating. The atmosphere was interesting and I enjoyed looking around while eating and chatting with the staff. The quality of the food was really good as well, having generous portions of high quality ingredients and if something was wrong with the food they were happy to correct it. Each dish had its own unique flavor profile and the two dogs and the side I tried had just the right amount of heat and spice. Overall I would highly recommend trying this place and I will most certainly be coming back for more in the near future.”

The volcano wings had red curry on them and were mildly spicy. Next time I'll be getting even more spicy wings. To even out the spicy, I ordered cherry reduction wings called Jesse James. They were drenched in sauce and super tasty. Ordered a side of fries too with some mayonnaise. They put cinnamon on the fries which was an awesome surprise. They gave be another dip as well, I finished the mayonnaise and other dip with all of the fries. For drinks, I ordered a surly grapefruit and an axe man which were both on tap. Overall, I would recommend D spot to anyone that likes wings and good food. It was such a fun experience.”

“Chicken pad Thai and egg rolls for takeout. Spicy #6 out of 10. The flavor is good and probably one of the best options around this part of town. The meat was decent (not all gristly) and done well. Their pad Thai gets a lot of hype on here. It's solid and something to check out - it probably won't change your life - but it is worth your time and money here. Egg rolls were done well, not very greasy, and the fish sauce on the side was tasty. The dine-in area looked like a nice spot!”
