“This is the best thin crust pizza! A coworker of my wife ordered this at her work and my wife commented how good it was. I was skeptical until I tried it. It’s the perfect combination of crust, sauce and cheese. The delivery option was good, but the take and bake option is even better. You can control how you like it. I added a little fresh mozzarella and few more veggies to a sausage, onion, mushroom, and green pepper pizza. 450 for 18 minutes. Perfect!”

“This was our first time visiting the restaurant. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the two employees working the service desk. One of them brought us to our table. We received chips with mild and bean salsa immediately. We received our food quickly after we ordered our food. Our food was delicious with good size portions. The taco salad had freshly cooked vegetables. The chicken was seasoned nicely. Our waiter checked on us numerous times and was very friendly. We highly recommend it.”

“Ted Cooks has great BBQ food at a reasonable price. First, their house BBQ sauce is incredible. Sweet, tangy, and with some heat to it as well (you can specify heat level in the sauce). The half chicken was juicy with great smokey flavor. The ribs had a nice dry rub on them and great flavor as well. I also enjoyed the spicy sausage and jojos combo plate. I will stop in again just based on their delicious BBQ sauce alone! This place knows how to do BBQ right. They’ve been at it for such a long time too!”

“Papa’s Cafe is a privately owned authentic diner. It felt a bit like I had time traveled when I entered. The menu includes a variety of breakfast and lunch/supper options - all very Americana. I got the Mexican Chorizo Omelette with hash browns and pumpernickel toast. It was all fresh and tasty. The omelette was fluffy. The portion was generous, without being overwhelming. The servers were professional. The space offers a bank of classic diner stools facing the kitchen as well as comfortable booths and a variety of tables. Everything is simple. Everything is clean. Free parking right outside the diner. Although I had read other reviews saying the pricing is relatively cheap, that was not my experience. My omelette and ice tea cost over $16 before the tip. It was really good - but not cheap (therefore a 4 rather than 5 star review). The venue is perfect for a meal with family and/or friends. I recommend it.”

“Probably the best mexican food i've had in minnesota, I was super impressed. Everything was super fresh and everything looked and tasted homemade, nothing was over seasoned or over sauced, the ingredients just spoke for themselves and were really good. What impressed me the most was that you have to wait for the horchata with the rest of your meal, and the large size is huge, and when i tasted it i could immediately tell it was homemade, super nice sweetness but not cloying and with a good but not overpowering cinnamon taste, after my meal i asked the woman at the counter and she confirmed it was homemade and you could taste it with everything, and if they're making their own horchata they're more than likely making their own everything. This place is really humble with a lot to be proud of, I'll definitely be here again.”

Main dish with an appetizer and drink will get you in the $20 range with plenty to fill the handy Chinese leftover carrier box for later. Had fried potstickers to start and mapo tofu (tofu and ground pork) as my main dish. Came with a side of white rice. Food didn't arrive the quickest, but I'm never really in a rush when it comes to enjoying the eat out experience. Didn't seem like the pot stickers were made fresh to order but the dipping sauce was a wonder add. Main dish was plentiful and tasty with a nice onion crunch to it, which is a little different for me. All in all nothing wrong with the experience or food... just your standard fair quiet relaxing Chinese night out.”

“Loved the whole place. We have been looking for a pool hall and this place was perfect. It also has darts and a few arcade games. The drinks are good and strong and its not an arm and a leg for a shot. This place is good for kids, a night out or just brunch. The staff was very nice and helpful. “I had an amazing experience at the Burnsville, MN Lunds & Byerlys. While on my way home from work, and in preparation for an evening dinner guest, I stopped and picked up several bags of groceries. Once home and after the grill was fired up, I noticed that the meat that I just purchased did not make it home. I had used the drive-thru pickup. A quick look in my car revealed that one numbered pickup card was still laying there. Byerlys DROVE to my home and hand delivered the missing groceries in time to serve the meal - a good half hour drive for them! And they added in a few grocery surprises. What fantastic customer service! If only everyone handled a simply human mistake with such integrity and speed! The meat department is exceptional. I count on them for freshness and flavor. If you get a chance to know the staff, they are quick with tips and often have suggestions on how to prepare your main dish. They also have their own line of seasonings that complement fish, beef, chicken, and lamb. The variety available for fish, which I love, fits almost and taste bud. Their cheese selection is fantastic; I buy 3-4 varieties every week and have been able to get what I need for most any recipe. The desserts and pastries are really stand-out. I’ve bought the Chocolate Raspberry Mascarpone in a least four locations across the Twin Cities. They likely all use the same recipe, but consistently, the bakery department at the Burnsville location makes them the very best! They sell several brand items that otherwise I am running several place to catch. One favorite that comes to mind are the La Perruche Br Sugar Cubes and Mexican Coke in glass bottles. Out of all few places that I have shopped during COVID-19, I think they have done the best job of keeping a distance between shoppers at checkout, washing things down, and having all the staff wear masks. Most of all, the customer service is second to none!”
