The food was excellent, but be aware it took some time because the whole town was also at the bar, but the food did not disappoint. I highly recommend the brussel sprouts with bacon and blue cheese! If you or your family need a nearby getaway whilst eating food and listening to music this is the spot! And when you're done you can walk to the ice cream shop or the waterfall and take in the scenery! Highly recommend giving this place a shot if you drive by”

They also have a great indoor-outdoor patio section that was perfect for a warm summer morning. My wife was feeling adventurous and ordered the chicken & waffle sliders. It was love at first bite. My chicken-fried steak brought me right back to my childhood, but with the refinements you’d expect from a trained chef. Our waiter was attentive enough to make sure our cups of coffee were always topped off, but gave us appropriate privacy. The other staff were all smiles and seemed to be genuinely happy to be there. To us, a happy staff that’s treated well always translates to good food and a good experience.”

“Best Szechuan in Twin Cities! This place is truly a hidden gem, run by masters. The owner comes from a popular Szechuan place in Minneapolis and she struck out on her own to take over a failing takeout joint in a strip mall. And thank goodness! The menu is full of authentic Szechuan specialties. On this visit we tried: Bamboo shoots in chili oil (cold salad with scallions - fresh, crunchy and wonderful) Juicy buns (classic soup dumplings done right) Dan-dan noodles (perfectly prepared top to bottom) Boiled fish Szechuan style (the oily broth was rich and delicious, with tons of cabbage, sprouts and tofu to make a wonderfully balanced dish) Cumin lamb (velvety and deeply flavorful, contrasted with crunchy shredded lettuce). Eggplant stir-fried with garlic and pork (drop-dead delicious) I cannot wait to go back and dive deeper into the menu. Service was super sweet and friendly, food came out plenty fast and perfectly prepared, dish after incredible dish. They also have the classic Hunan dishes that the American palate is more familiar with, and I'm sure they do a great job with those items, but if you crave amazing Szechuan, this is it. If you are a fan of Teahouse, Szechuan Spice, Grand Szechuan, etc., this will be your new favorite. It's small with only a handful of tables but super clean and freshly painted, simple but pleasant decor - great for dining in or take out. FINDING IT: Remember that I called it a hidden gem? It actually is - the old "#1" sign still hangs on the facade of the strip mall above their storefront, only a small sign on the door says, "Hua Yang" - embrace the adventure and seek it out - if you know what good Szechuan food is, you'll be delighted!”

On this stop I had a burger and my wife had a personal pizza, which she loved. My burger was just ok. Service was excellent. “We loved the views on our tour of the beautiful St Croix! We were on the 11:00 Sunday morning tour on an absolutely perfect day! There is just the right amount of commentary provided, which we found very interesting. There is plenty of seating available but we enjoyed the views while standing along the rails. Ordering tickets in advance was super easy and recommended for quick entry. There is a bit of a step driveway but a golf cart was providing rides down to the boat for those who needed them. Parking on site.”

What the exterior of the strip mall restaurant lacks in appeal, the interior more than makes up for! The decor is hip, comfortable, and classy. All the staff we interacted with were kind and polite, despite being swamped. Our server, Megan, gave us just the right amount of attention and was patient as we mulled over the menu. So many interesting choices, it was hard to narrow it down. But we were both delighted with what we settled on. The Tater Tot Skillet and Fiesta Omlete were both delicious! But I almost forgot that we started with the Mimosa Kit that included 1 bottle of champagne, 3 juices, fruit, and macaroons! Since we were celebrating a birthday, ordering this treat seemed appropriate. It was all thoroughly enjoyable! Side note: Anyone bringing their beloved Boomer parents may want to give them a heads up about the all genders bathroom. We witnessed a couple of confused Grandpas not quite sure how to navigate the restroom space.”
