“We went to salt pepper oak for lunch. There was a line of people waiting which is always a good sign, especially for a new restaurant.. luckily the line moved very quickly and we enjoyed watching the fun atmosphere and friendly staff while we decided what to order. We got a 2-meat tray (brisket and pork belly burnt ends) and a 1-meat tray (pork spare ribs), and with each Mac n cheese and slaw as sides. The meats were all EXCELLENT- moist, smoky, so simple but soooooo flavorful. It was hard to choose a favorite but the burnt ends, especially with the peach glaze, were absolute stand outs. The meats came with tangy pickled cucumbers and onions on the side which were a great addition to cut through the richness of the meat. The sides were good, but perhaps needed a little more seasoning, or punch of flavor. But they got the job done and honestly the meat is what we came for- and it delivered. We plan on coming back over and over again. Great staff, fun atmosphere and excellent bbq- try it out!!”

“This is by far the cleanest and neatest Goodwill I have been to: both in Mississippi and out of MS. The cashiers up front was wonderful and such a pleasure to meet and chat with. They greeted me and told me about the purple tags half off sale happening for the week. Upon entering the store you are greeted with awesome decor across three tables setup to pick from. My wife had a blast looking through the autumn theme clothing and accessories that were on display near the register area and picked out a belt and sweater. The Waveland store is so organized and clean and I was able to find all the categories we were interested in shopping. I came to look for hardware and electronics and my wife came for clothing. We were both really satisfied with the items we found for purchase even though the electronics area was kinda low on product. I did manage to find some items in other areas that were just a steal of a price. Katherine was my cashier and Mike stepped over to help get hangers off our clothes and to get them out of the way. They were both really kind and had great attitudes. Katherine asked if I was a loyalty member and I told her no as I had no idea that Goodwill had such a thing. She asked if I wanted to sign up which I did with just my phone number and the process was quick and easy! She explained how the points work and as a frequent shopper of The Picayune store with occasionally stopping at Diamondhead and Waveland because of traveling for work, I’m sure I’ll be getting my $5 off coupons pretty quick now! I asked to speak with a manager to give compliments to and Jesse came up. I told him everything that is in my review here. He thanked me for the positive feedback and told me he was new to the position up front and that he’s been working really hard to make sure that the product his customers want is out for sale and that the store feels very welcoming. I think that makes a huge difference as I feel like this is a brand new store from the last time I visited a few months ago. We chatted for a little bit while my wife still looked around as the clothing aisles are much larger than other stores we frequent. Jesse recommended us to check out a few areas in the store before leaving, like the ocean and beach display shelf in which we found a couple cool decorative pieces and a jar full of shells. The display cases around the registers were packed with all kinds of goodies to look at while my items were being rung up. Overall I think Waveland is now my #1 and I’ll go a little out of the way to stop by to see Jesse, Katherine and Mike again. Jesse told me to come back and shop Monday to find some pretty awesome deals for dollar Monday. Thank you for a great shopping experience today. I will be back to see all the exciting new goods that will be out the next time. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I absolutely would. I am attaching photos of some of our favorite areas we shopped from today.”

“Erica was the best, most helpful and friendliest server while visiting for the first time! She answered all of our questions and helped us pick out things we would like to try. Being newer to this area of Mississippi, I’m so glad we came out to try this establishment. I strongly recommend the Oysters and the 3 Way Broil. You can mix and match your seasoning/flavors for the oysters which is great, and they have something for everyone no matter the particular palate. Definitely will be back!”

“Bayou motors is totally a life saver! extremely friendly, helpful, and most of all customer service was beyond outstanding! My alternator went out while traveling back home to Louisiana from a family vacation in Biloxi Mississippi. Had it towed to the nearest shop (bayou motors) and loved every minute i was there! Got right down to the bottom of the problem. Fixed my alternator and belt! I would totally refer them to anyone looking for the great service! The service, help, and the above and beyond was totally worth the price it took to get up and running! I would come back for just about anything! my family and i are honored to run into such great people and we will be back to give a bigger thank you! Much love to yall!”
