“My band, Parvenu, chose to go with Avenue Record Company after checking out several studios around the Kansas City area, including million dollar studios. What sold it for us was the final product that Matt had produced before. Matt's skill is on par with industry leaders, and the quality he turns out is indistinguishable (or better) from those in surrounding studios. His laid back attitude also helps relax artist and musicians from feeling like he wants to get people in and out. A musician himself, he also help shape what you're doing to get you to your ultimate vision. All of this while maintaining rates that blow the competition out of the water! “I don't know what's up with these other reviews. When I went I had the best service I have ever had going inside a store. I have had sprint for over 10 years and 4 states. This location has dynamite employees with tons of know how. I also got a case and screen protector without them asking. I thought it was odd but I did need it. A quick fix for that is simply asking the customers if they need it at that moment. Not everyone has an extra $50+ for assescories. All in all that was the easiest and most cordial encounter. “Needed windshield wiper blades and de-icer windshield washer fluid. Called the store for info. The guy was very informative and explained the difference in the blades and price. I decided on a certain. He said that he would hold them for me. Told him I would be there in an hour. When I got there he had them at the counter and got the fluid. He put the wipers on my car in the rain!!! I held my umbrella over him as he put the wipers on because I appreciated what he did. He thanked me. Told him I would put the fluid later when it stopped raining. Great customer service!!!”

“My daughter expressed interest in playing ukulele at age 7 and, not knowing whether it would "stick" or not, I just Googled "Ukulele Kansas City" and came across KC Rock Band and Guitar, which was close to our home. From the first call with Laura Lee to inquire about lessons, I knew this would be a great experience. Laura Lee and her husband, Matt, are the owners and teachers and generally wonderful people. All of the teachers are fantastic - my daughter now takes ukulele and voice lessons - and it is the most fun, least pressure environment you fill find. They encourage children and support them and find common interest in popular music that makes everyone want to practice more! It's not just popular music, though - all of the teachers are very skilled in what they do and are such talented performers themselves. In over 2 years of weekly lessons, my daughter has never once complained about going. She loves it and so do we!”
