Solitude, prayer, quiet, restful, meditative, peaceful....heavenly. All of the Hermitages are built into the bluffs above the Mississippi River, so cool. Non profit retreat for those that need a place to retreat to for peace, rest, rejuvenation of their mind, body, soul and for prayer and meditation. You cannot beat the cost per night or per week, $40 per night with no set check in our checkout times (within reason), $200.00 for 6 nights-7 days. The staff are the best. Guided retreats, both individual or groups or self guided individual retreats. Donations are always needed and I will give all that I can to make sure this Beautiful place stays forever. When she wasn’t available Travis stepped in and was equally kind, warm, and compassionate. They were both a joy to work with in the midst of a really hard time. There were a few minor hiccups, but those were corrected as quickly as possible with an attitude of service. We are a very detail-oriented family, and there were several details we missed that Alianna and Travis thought of and took care of for us. I’m thankful we had them by our sides the day of the viewing and funeral. They were a comfort. Thank you so much.
