The park's well-maintained trails, picturesque landscapes, and various recreational activities made it an ideal destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts like myself. I had a fantastic time exploring the park's offerings and immersing myself in the tranquility of nature.
Broemmelsiek Park boasts a network of scenic trails that cater to different skill levels. Whether you're an avid hiker or prefer a leisurely stroll, there are options for everyone. The trails wind through rolling hills, lush fields, and peaceful woodlands, providing a diverse and picturesque experience.
The park's natural beauty was a major highlight of my visit. I was captivated by the serene lakes, wildflower-filled meadows, and the variety of wildlife that calls the park home. It's a haven for birdwatchers, and I spotted several species during my visit.
Broemmelsiek Park offers a plethora of recreational activities for individuals and families alike. The fishing lakes provide an opportunity for anglers to unwind, and the picnic areas are perfect for enjoying a meal in the great outdoors. Additionally, the park's dog-friendly trails allowed me to bring my furry companion along for the adventure.
While the park's natural beauty is its main attraction, some visitors might find the lack of facilities a slight drawback. There are restrooms and picnic areas available, but additional amenities like water fountains or food concessions could enhance the overall experience.
Although the trails are well-maintained, some visitors may find the trail signage a bit confusing or insufficient. Improved and clearer trail markers would be helpful for first-time visitors, ensuring they can navigate the trails with ease.

Great park with multiple pavilions and playgrounds. Nice trails and Creek to hike around. Large lake where you can fish and kayak. There are kayaks for rent as well.
There is also an astronomy viewing area where you can stargaze. The first Friday of every month, you can use their powerful telescope to stargaze as well. Just a really nice park to relax, play, fish, hike, bike or whatever you like.
Beautiful park. We visited the park to hang out in the water and used the iPaddlePort rental service to scoop up some SUP's and kayaks. Easy. Had a great time being lazy in the water and checking out the wildlife. We drove by the dog park and it looked so good! Off leash and with a little pond that the pups can jump into! We will be back with bikes and our pups next time!
Great park! Beautiful! Went to Betty’s lake to fish. I was there about 2 hours and landed 6 out of the 7 I caught. All about the same size and it was a great time! Will definitely be going back!
Went back out there today. 5-17-2023. One year exactly from when I was there the first time. Caught 9 more fish. Lost a few but what a great morning. It’s a beautiful park!
Great park!! I enjoy walking the miles of wooded trails. The paved path around the lake is also nice and it's one of the best places around to take in a sunset. Earlier this year a large new playground was added along with paved walkways to adjacent parking lots. Kids can play without getting muddy - even on a rainy day. There are also numerous covered picnic areas and outhouse style restrooms throughout the park.
