“I hadn't been here in years and it all came right back. Beautiful display and history of all kinds of transportation. The cars are absolutely beautiful. Interesting history of steam cars I actually had to scratch my head and say, what were they thinking. I loved going inside the trains and standing next to the larger ones really gives you a new respect for them. There was only 1 plane & one boat and I'm hoping they add to that mix. I believe that people have forgot this beauty of our history. It wasn't packed so it was nice to see & know you could visit history safely. Great place to visit for all ages.”

“The little museum on Fenton's history was very interesting to finally visit. It is a little known place to find out more about the history of Fenton. You can see pictures and items from the rural past of this St. Louis suburb and learn more about it's long history. The man who was there was very friendly and willing to show you around the museum. The one problem with the place is the hours which are 10am-2pm Wednesday and Saturday which make it harder to visit than other local museums.”

“The buildings here are well taken care of after being saved from demolition for new development of the land they formerly stood on. I was at the open house they have on the weekend and the volunteers that they had were helpful in showing what life was like and in informing people about the history of the buildings. It is also nice to just walk through it. While you do that there is an online guide to the buildings on the County Park website that is interesting.”

Really appreciated Carol's (the Executive Director's) and fellow "pioneers" (volunteers) great love for what they do. Well worth the small admission. Thanks!”

“Why can't more doctors be this way: punctual, professional, efficient and to the point. But still caring and willing to address any questions. Such a breath of fresh air in contrast to the typical hour-long waits with no explanation with the average medical office. Yes, my time is valuable too; thank you for respecting that. Kudos for your approach.”

“Loved stepping back in time! The history of Jefferson Barracks and how integral it was to our military for so long was eye opening. Really enjoyed looking at all the old uniforms from different wars and time periods. How things have changed and how some have not!”

“The place is very well maintained. They employ veterans and pay them well which should always be the standard in my opinion. The way the graves are placed makes for some nice photos if you'd like. The deer love to come out in the evening and morning. There's a trail to go walking nearby.”
