“I went here from 6th grade to 8th grade, and I'd rate it as the best middle school in this district. I have many friends from the other middle schools and they talk about fights and bullying at the other schools. I rarely experience any bullying and only heard of one fight in my whole experience there. I find the staff there kind and very helpful. This middle school gave me the best experience I've had yet.”

“My daughter started in the Junior classroom (ages 3-5) this year. I love the mixed age classrooms, the small class size, and the child-directed learning. I love that the school has a dedicated art room, science room and outdoor classroom. I love that they have Stretch & Grow come to teach the kids about nutrition, exercise and health. I love that they are teaching spanish and music every week. Being a co-op is especially important to me because as a parent I can have a lot of input into what goes on at the school. There are 17 different committees for parents to join to further the schools goals. Parents are also on the board of directors. Academically my daughter has taught herself addition, geography, lifeskills, and social skills. I love that the teachers are very hands off and allowing the children to make mistakes and learn from them. I LOVE that the kids get at least an hour outside almost every day if not more. Montessori Co-op School has been around for over 30 years and because of the immense passion of the staff and parents it is an amazing school perfect for any child seeking a Montessori education”

“We send our kids here instead of Norris because of how big Norris has gotten... We had 25 kindergarteners in my daughter's class when she went there! There were 13 in one class, and 12 in another at Freeman. If you want your kids to go to a smallish school, and have smaller class sizes than Norris, this can be a great option if you are eligible.”

“Our son has been at MCA since he was 2 1/2, he is now 5. We have had a great experience here! The staff is very friendly and takes great care of our little guy! The preschool program is wonderful, the kids get to rotate through different rooms that each focus on a different subject to help keep them learning and engaged. Everything is always clean and they are good about keeping us informed of any illnesses in our son’s class. I really like the app they have where you are kept up through out the day on what your child is doing, how much they ate, bathroom breaks and sleep time. It gives me a big peace of mind knowing how/what they are doing while they are there. This KinderCare location is the ONLY center my kids have ever been too. The teachers and the director are beyond caring and listen to any concerns you have.
