(October 27, 2019, 1:41 am)Hiked the loop today and it was great. Took me about 3 to 3.5 hours to complete the 6 miles. If you plan on hiking the whole loop, I recommend starting from the Lower Bristlecone trailhead so you can walk downhill back to your car when you finish at the Upper Loop trailhead.

(August 10, 2019, 3:54 pm)Easy trail, park at Lee Canyon. No bathroom facilities. Plan on an hour up and an hour down. There's a miniature summit after 45 minutes and its a great spot for pictures and a turnaround. It's about 30 degrees cooler than Las Vegas on a hot day. Snow stays until June. There's not a lot of direct sunlight but you'll burn without sunblock. Elevation is about 8800 feet throughout tje hike. You'll be panting early.
