“GourMelt is everything little highschool amateur chef me dreamed of doing some day. When you open a little, independent shop dedicated to just grilled cheese sandwiches, you really have to be creative and innovative. GourMelt is exactly that. I was equal parts baffled and excited by the recipes on their menu. There were toppings like orange-cranberry sauce, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sauerkraut, and apples… on grilled cheese sandwiches! Back in the day, I actually did try to make a grilled cheese sandwich with apples on it, but I only tried once so I never perfected a recipe. With that in mind, naturally I had to order The Bumble Brie, with sliced green apples, ham, honey, and melted Brie cheese on sourdough bread. If that doesn’t sound good to you, you’re missing out because it was an absolutely fantastic sandwich. I love the fact that this sandwich shop exists, but more than that, I love that it tastes so good.”

“Went around 11:30AM on a Friday and there was no wait. The staff was polite and friendly and service was pretty quick. All their rolls are delicious and they have a large selection to choose from. I thought I was hungrier than I actually was and we ended up getting an additional charge for a regular roll for the sushi we wanted to take home. This is pretty typical for most all you can eat sushi places in Reno if you have a lot leftover but the staff was courteous about it and I had no complaints. By the time we were leaving around 12:45PM there were a lot of people waiting so I'm glad we got there a bit earlier.”

“Friendly staff, Choices for everyone, satisfied stomachs. You choose small, medium, large bowls, or "all you can eat" tray. Separately you choose rice or noodles, which don't take up space in your bowl. (Remember this when choosing your size). Keto dieters simply decline. Next you fill your bowl or tray with whatever veggies or meat combinations makes you happy. Lamb and Tofu choices means carnivores and vegetarians are all taken care of. At the end of the line are small cups for your sauce and seasoning choices. Your meal is cooked on a gigantic wheel of a griddle while you munch from the appetizer bar. Includes a small beer, wine, and seafood bar in one corner and a kid's area in another corner. Plenty of space to serve large crowds and not be crowded. Great for Friday nights or after church services. I found the food satisfactory and a little pricey, while my Keto husband was very very happy with his meal and receipt.”
