The food here is super delicious, amazing food & meat portions (it's super generous), excellent family friendly service and it's a "mom and pop" family business which I love because they serve you food as if they would serve their own family members. The food is so authentic and mouth watering. I always order from here and recommend my family and friends also. The portions can easily serve 3-4 people per dish and that's perfect when having a family lunch or dinner or even solo because it's great for next day leftovers. “Very popular joint. Make sure to make a reservation. They’re really busy on weekends and even though service is very good, expect to wait even if you arrive on time. I think they knew I was getting hangry because they gave us calamari on the house since we waited a while for our table. It earned them 5* from me! We ordered the Legends Platter, calamari (on the house), fish n chips, and surf n turf skewers. 😎 all of it was great! The only condiment we lacked was malt vinegar for the fish n chips. (Also, for anyone who doesn’t like seafood like my hubs, the fries didn’t taste fishy at all, we think they probably have a dedicated fryer for it.) ☺️”

“The wife and I have visited twice, both have been delightful experiences. Chihuahua's Cantina has both tex-mex and bar/grill items on it's menu. We focused on the tex- mex. We were both impressed with the combination plates. You can get a different number of items for a reasonable price. The bonus is that a combo plate comes with dessert. The interior is the basic modern grill look with some south of the border flair. We asked to be seated in the bar area so that we could watch sports. Service both times was fantastic.”

“I loved this place. I am traveling across country and stopped here to meet with a good friend I have not seen in too long. The girls at the front are fun, happy and just engaging- great start. More then a few employees suggested the breakfast tacos and they were really good and filling. My kiddo loved her breakfast and all the food came out hot. The home fries are my favorite.. they are nothing like what others call home fries-- loved them! What I loved about this place is they didn't kick us out :). We had NO idea they closed in the afternoon and were just gabbing away- oblivious that the restaurant had emptied (she's just one of my favorite people) and they didn't bother us.. I know how important that time is for a restaurant so we can't thank you enough! Customer service lacks so much these days and often for solid reason but this place was truly wonderful in all ways! Great food and happy people serving you! A MUST! Plus they have apparently been on tv ... so they are famous. :)”

“Stopped by about ten minutes before closing (9pm) to grab a coffee since most of the starbucks in Reno close at 7pm or 8pm. I tried to mobile order the drink ahead of time because I have a bit of anxiety about ordering at coffee shops right before closing. I used to work at Starbucks and know it's a bit annoying to have someone order a couple minutes before closing after most of the bar has been cleaned up. Anyways, the barista who took my order on the drive thru was so sweet and greeted me with a smile. Although I'm sure she didn't think much of it, it really made my night. I know working customer service jobs are exhausting but (as cliche as this sounds) a good attitude seriously makes all the difference.”

The orders come up fast and special requests are handled all on the order sheet, just write what you want and they'll do it. The trick for fast service is come when it's not busy.
