“So I put in an online order for pickup and then went to the store and no one was home, came by twice that day, lights on but no one was there...even though it was supposed to be open, odd. It had charged my account & I was planning on coming by to pickup the order the following day to pickup instead if doing a charge back. I was told at first that orders disappear at the end of the night and presumably the money is returned - but it wasn't in my account 2 days later. I talked to Jon, presumably the manager, he was running the show & he took a look at the online order on my phone & had it filled for me. I really appreciate the customer service!! “The last time I visited this place was 10 years ago when it used to be the closest Mexican food place for my family. Good memories with this place. Honestly coming back. Still my favorite. Carlos our waiter was amazing. Food was fast even for how busy it was. The blended margarita was also pretty good. It is a little on the higher prices side, but definitely will come back again soon.”

“My wife and I have now been to quite a few great steakhouses in Vegas. Old Homestead at Caesar's, Gordon Ramsay's and the like... Ruth's Chris is our favorite. The steaks are traditional and seasoned with salt and pepper and finished in the 1800 degree broiler with butter. It comes out on a hot plate, cut the steak and let the hot butter sear the steak and coat it with flavor! Yummm! The sweet potato dish is good enough for dessert and I don't like sweet potatoes! I don't order any sweet potato dish or side anywhere but here. Great service and excellent food!”

“Had the Double Western meal. It's a good Burger. Probably the best burger they serve. The Big Carl is a close second followed by the Star Burgers (super and famous). Not a fan of the 6 dollar burgers. Fries could be better (the fries you used to serve before were better). All in all, a great burger and paired with a coke makes it go down smooth.”

Thanks prohibition. I've spoken with the owners at their old location a few times. They work hard, and seem to treat their employees well. I'm always happy to spend my money here instead of the other places. Cheese curds. That needed to be mentioned as well. This is the food that makes my worries melt away.”

“I always wanted to check out the Hard Hat Lounge and, once inside, I was pleasantly surprised to find a hidden gem, Steel City Sandwich (a tiny, but amazing sandwich production inside a bar). Taylor immediately greeted me with a huge smile, a personal introduction, a menu, and an infectious personality. I ordered a Sexy Vegan ($10 cash). Taylor cooked the french fries, onions, and mushrooms, and then prepared my sandwich. The sandwich was as impressive as the service! All of the ingredients were fresh and prepared to perfection. The fries, the star ingredient, were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They pair very well with the house-made slaw. “I was put off by the poor reviews but my husband and i decided to try this place anyway based on the good reviews. We loved it - the food was delicious, margaritas were perfect and the flan was sublime. Best of all was the service by Emily - a most cheerful and helpful wait staff. All wait staff should be like her. Also, our margaritas took so long that by the time it came, we were half way through dinner. Emily was very apologetic and while the lateness was annoying at first, we chose to be understanding. In the end, the manager comped our dessert. It was really unnecessary because it was not a problem and we had a good experience overall but it did show excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place.”
