(December 30, 2017, 8:01 pm)I have been studying piano and composition with Frank King for in excess of a decade. Through my association with Frank, I have received the inspiration to continue my education at an advanced level in college with composition being my major. Frank has been my main motivational force whether it be music or academics. For this, I owe Frank a plentitude of gratitude and strongly recommend him as a piano, theory, and composition instructor for anyone interested in the piano performance and music in general. FRANK KING of FRK PIANO STUDIO is the best.
(September 8, 2017, 10:46 am)My two children have been taking piano lessons with Mr. Frank King for the past three years. Mr. King is an exceptional instructor with extraordinary talent & dedication. He sets exceptionally high but not unreasonable standards for his students.
Three years ago we enrolled our three & a half year old daughter. While many piano instructors do not accept 3 year olds, he took her on as a new student & in 3 months she could read music and play piano!
His main strength, is the ability to engage & motivate my children. He is always sincerely interested in their progress, encourages them to do their best & is brutally honest with them too.
Mr. King is dependable, extremely knowledgeable, motivated & in tune with the needs of my children. He comes highly recommended.
(September 2, 2017, 3:38 pm)I have been studying piano with Frank King of FRK PIANO STUDIO for approximately four years. I had a previous piano instructor. Mr. King's individualistic approach to piano instruction custom-tailors the lesson to your particular ability and requirements. His method of teaching stimulates you to practice because if the material you are studying "fits", your desire to accomplish increases. Compared to the previous instructor, Frank King is immeasurably superior. Under Mr. King's tutelage, I have advanced steadily to the point where I have a repertoire of relatively advanced compositions covering a few genres.
I am very satisfied with my achievements. I thank Mr. King for his patience, expertise, determination, and perseverance. HE MAKES ME FEEL TALENTED. In my estimation, Frank King is the best instructor that I could have had the good fortune to be coupled with. I am very appreciative and I recommend Mr. King wholeheartedly. Musically, Frank King is the best that could of happened to me!!!
(August 29, 2017, 10:39 pm)I have been studying piano performance and music theory with Frank King, the entrepreneur of FRK PIANO STUDIO for about six years. Initially, Frank conducted an analytical assessment of my musical aptitude to determine the curriculum that would best suit me. This was the first stage of what Frank calls "Individualization". Frank is NOT a cookie-cutter instructor by any stretch of the imagination. He personalizes each lesson to maximize each student's productivity. Frank continually tweaks my music to motivate me and enhance my progress through the introduction of new techniques that are readily applicable to other selections. Many of my compositions are arranged or rearranged by Frank.
I especially like the emphasis that Frank places on repertoire and experimentation. He strongly encourages having a collection of selections that can be performed at a moments notice. I am prepared to perform spontaneously. Experimentation under Frank's guidance has permitted me to modify my performances to the point where they are "signature pieces".
As must be apparent, I am extremely satisfied with my teacher, Frank King. If you are searching for an exceptional piano instructor, search no further. Frank King is your man.
(August 29, 2017, 6:29 pm)I have been taking piano lessons and music theory lessons with FRANK KING of FRK PIANO STUDIO for about 5 years. In that period of time Frank has demonstrated remarkable ability in terms of his teaching methods. Having started from square one, I am now working on advanced musical performance. Presently, I am learning how to perform 'Bumble Boogie', in conjunction with the classical version of 'Flight of the Bumble Bee'. People who hear me perform think I have been studying the piano for much longer than I have been. I highly recommend Frank King to anyone who is searching for an instructor. In my estimation, Frank King is the best.
