“I visited Jonathan Motorcars on the recommendation of my brother-in-law after taking my BMW to the dealer for an oil change. I hadn’t had an issue with the brakes nor did a sensor indicate that my brakes were low prior to scheduling the oil change. The dealership told me that the car was “due” (not recommended) for front brake pads and rotors as well as rear brake pads with a price tag of $1300.00. I called Jonathan’s and spoke with the service manager, Mike, who very patiently listened while I explained what BMW told me I needed. I was then quoted a price that would save me $400.00 over BMW. Not only was the cost less, but what I would be receiving from Jonathan’s would be more as they would replace rotors on the front and back, not just the front as BMW quoted. I dropped off my car the night prior to my appointment and received a phone call from Mike the next morning within 30 minutes of the time they opened. He told me that the mechanic had already looked the car over and I did not need the brakes or rotors replaced either in the front or back. Mike took the time to walk me through the measurements they had taken and why this indicated I did not need to replace the brakes. Since I went in telling them what I needed, they could have easily done the job, taken my money, and I wouldn’t have known better. They didn’t even charge me a dime for checking the brakes. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with Mike’s honesty and the integrity of the establishment. Bottom line, if you are looking for friendly, knowledgeable, and honest service for your car, Jonathan’s Motorcars is the place. Also, the selection of unique automobiles they have for sale on their lot is a sight to see. I will only be bringing my car here for service in the future.”
