It doesn't matter if you're interested in competing, getting in shape, or just want to learn the intricacies of mixed martial arts. This school does it all. I'm not going to pretend I wasn't nervous to start. What I learned was it didn't matter how naturally skilled I was or wasn't. What mattered was that I was surrounded by amazing instructors and wonderful men and women going through the same journey as me. Even the black and brown belts would actively go out of their way to help me get started. Personally, I joined as a fun way to get in shape., but it wasn't long before I started competing and fell in love with the sport. The best part, though, are the people I've met at Beacon.”

“Such a cool vibe at this studio, between the lighting and the design of the studio, finding the right mood for my music was not hard at all. “Only been a member for a little under 3 weeks now, but i have to say it is going well. I’ve mainly been using the gym, but have occasionally played basketball. I do enjoy the gym area. There is a ton of equipment to work out on and there are also multiple machines used for the same workout ex: (multiple chest press machines, bench press, squat racks, and sets of dumbbells ). Also good spot for stretching. Haven’t yet had a problem with waiting on a machine and not finding an open bench.”
