“This is a great place for easy hiking. Windy paths through the woods offer shady walks out of the sun. The Stony Brook stream is perfect for cooling off the feet and hunting crayfish, salamanders and lizards. The meadows are a treat for the eyes, full of flowers, grasses, and sun. And don't miss the frog chorus right outside the Nature Center! The Institute itself is a fun place with some good exhibits. But the best part has to be their summer camp. Amazing and the kids never want it to end!”

“A wide network of flat, well maintained hiking trails via wooded and open grassy areas stretch for miles. Some trails are covered with small crashed stones, which are good for biking and running, some are grassy. A nice lake and Stony Brook have some dirt trails around. Playground, restrooms and dog park are nice additions.”
