“2nd time here. We arrived at 4 pm- before anyone else on a Saturday evening. The manager welcomed us right away. We had the shrimp torte appetizer, and we bought our own wine. We ordered the Lamb Tajin, Shrimp and Long Island Clam. Absolutely delicious !! For desert, we had the bread pudding with ice cream. Lemon never disappoints, and the manager and staff always check in. Highly recommend.”

“Good tasting authentic Mexican food at a fair price. I ordered the Mexican shrimp and vegetarian nachos. The Mexican shrimp platter was delicious. A bit spicy but not overly spicy. It came with rice and beans, a few slices of white cheese and avocado I ordered the food for takeout and it was ready in about 20 minutes. For those that want to dine in expect locals, loud talking, and music and the area outside of the store is a bit rough just as an FYI. Overall I will be coming back to this restaurant for more yummy food.”

“Forget about the big pizza chains. Dino’s Pizzeria is the better choice. Their spinach pizza is one of the best I have ever tasted. Cannot complain of their prices too. “We came here after an 8th grade graduation and it hit the spot for Italian food! Everything we ordered was great. I got the chicken francese, which is on the lemony side, and we ordered some pasta and the cheesesteak (phenomenal!!!). Their service was superb too! Our food came out fast and the server was super nice. We also just ordered catering for a future party, and I cannot wait to try out some more of their food. “I started going to this place when they first opened up almost 40 years ago. I no longer live in NJ but when I come to visit I always eat here. They have the best Chinese food around. This is a family owned establishment and a few things have changed over the years and decades but everything is as good now as it was back then. I highly recommend. “Stop #7 on our Summer Hot Dog Joint and Diner tour 2018...and a long time favorite, The Windmill Hot Dogs in Freehold, NJ. Windmill is an icon on the Jersey Shore, and rightly so. Their large flat grilled snappy natural casing dogs are excellent. I prefer mine kind of well done, split open and a bit charred. They are served on regular white rolls. My son Jason's dog was plain (of course). I love topping mine with the combination of their spicy brown mustard and hot pepper relish. The hot pepper relish is what pushes these dogs over the top for me. I paired my dogs up with their famous cheese fries. Just awesome...”
