“My central air conditioning stopped working. I called John because he is both an electrician and an HVAC repairman, which means that if the problem is with the electric wiring of the house, he was qualified to fix it. His fee for visiting was remarkably modest -- $90. I watched him as he took apart the big metal box outside the house. He was careful and methodical and clearly knew what he was doing. He found several parts that needed replacing, but recommended we get a new unit, as ours is 32 years old. He was courteous and explained things well. He struck me as honest and ethical, and I would certainly recommend him to a friend.”
