(July 7, 2023, 1:35 pm)If you are in NJ, STOP, you need to come to this delicious, perfect spot. Sweet potatoes are perfect, fried chicken divine, fried fish, mouth watering, scrumptious!! Seriously, don’t go any further. Service excellent!!!
(May 14, 2023, 7:37 pm)Food was delicious (and I just came back from NOLA so expectations are pretty high.) Our family had writings, ribs, crab cake, Mac and cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes and chili with rice. We ate it all. So good. The owner and waitress were so kind, true southern hospitality. Happy we found this place will be returning soon!
(March 11, 2023, 2:40 pm)What an amazing spot! We arrived just as they were closing and the owner came out and greeted us. When the food was ready, the woman behind the counter said we could eat the food inside instead of taking it to go. They stayed open longer just for us! It was such a kind gesture.
The food was incredible! The Mac and cheese was exactly how I like it (not smothered in sauce) and the fried chicken was insane! Perhaps the best I have ever had! I couldn’t recommend the place more! Hope to be back there soon!
