“I had suffered with back pain for as long as I can remember and I had seen every type of professional to address the pain (PTs, chiropractors, orthopedic doctors, etc). I would feel better initially but then pain would be back & I would have to stop living my life again until the pain got bad enough for me to do something about & I would start the cycle all over again. I found Mike through Amp'd Fitness & after our initial phone call I knew that I found the answer to my problems. We spent our first session talking about my goals and what I wanted to get out of our time together which was the first time any professional had done that with me. Mike isn't the kind if chiropractor that just adjusts you & sends you on your way-in fact he never once adjusted me! He gave me the tools and education I needed to make the necessary changes in my day to day to feel my best but also made sense to help me achieve my goals in & outside of the gym. After 12 sessions with Mike I can honestly say I've never felt better & I have been able to do things that previously would have caused me pain or that I wouldn't have done altogether because I knew I would be in pain after. The best part about it-as excited and proud of myself as I was, Mike was equally excited and proud! I have been afraid of the dentist since I’m young, as I’m sure many can relate to, and have put off having my wisdom teeth removed due to fear of oral surgery. CJOMS accommodated me with an emergency appointment due to pain I was experiencing due to my own neglect of having this produce done. The day of the surgery they walked me through exactly what would happen. The environment was relaxed and made all my worries disappear. Before I knew it, I was awake and in recovery with little to no pain. Dr. Meyer and his team has completely lifted my fear of oral surgery. I can not recommend or thank them enough. My only regret is not doing it sooner!”
